What a hot mess (and not in a good way…) It was too long and weird shifts in the writing style throughout. But it was great to finally get it off the shelf!
Roll 41 for #Roll100
This was a fun one! Loved the banter between Caroline and Simon!

"A great love story never truly ends. It evolves, it changes, it adapts and becomes something new. What was there from the beginning never really goes away, if the two are true. It deepens, it matures, and two individual stories become inexorably linked and overlap into a new story, one that is full and interesting and beautiful on its own."

"He was wooing me. And I was letting him woo. I wanted the woo. I deserved the woo. I needed the wow that would surely follow the woo, but for now, the woo? It was whoa."

2nd book read for the #DashingDecember #Readathon @andrew65
I think it's supposed to be lighthearted and funny, but it goes overboard with the saccharine and privilege. Superficial, rich people get busy a lot. I suppose that is an escape.
Enjoyed this follow up to one of my fave couples. Short and sweet.
What does it say about me that #3Books that I‘ve read in one day all look like this? 🤔😂
I‘m all caught up now!
I had to get this on audio for fear my kids would see this and ask too many questions. Heard about this from Book Riot but I never read it because...well that cover... But I caved and...oh my! Lots of sexy times! 😊 It was funny too. Packed with sexual innuendos and comical situations. It could have benefited from more editing-too long IMO (no pun intended)-see what this book does to your brain? Best character was the cat! 4 steamy dirty ⭐️
This book is so much fun!!! 💕💕 Vacationing in Ireland right now, so here‘s a photo of all my layers.
#WARNINGsteamy
“Simon, I need, please, inside, now,” I panted, almost #incoherent with lust. Simon, schooled in Caroline shorthand, understood this completely and was poised between my legs, hips nuzzled up into mine within seconds. He leaned down, kissing me wantonly, the taste of me all over him. And I loved it.

Watching another storm roll while reading and waiting on my oldest to get out of guitar lessons. From the first page I was hooked. So far it‘s a steamy little book that reads like a romantic comedy from the early 2000. I‘m loving it!!!
I finished this last night and really liked it. The beginning was a little slow, and took me awhile to get into, but I ended up getting invested in both of the main characters. I‘m a sucker for the whole friends before lovers trope, and this did it well. No picture because it‘s upstairs where my kids are supposed to be falling asleep...
1. I have in the past, but it gets expensive and I generally read on my kindle
2. Will always be me falling in a mud puddle in full band uniform. Thankfully it was after the competition.
3. Tagged book sooo funny
4. Denver, Colorado and Disney World are planned for this summer!

Starting a new review series called “Revealing Romances” where I read romance novels with covers that we avoid, believing they‘re “trash” because of their name or cover. My idea is to review these books so you don‘t have to judge them by their covers but can see if their embarrassing titles or covers are worth getting past. My first is a fairly well known romance, Wallbanger. #RevealingRomances #CoupleofReviews
1. Clive from Wallbanger 😺
2. Any shade of purple or blue💙💜 I‘m not fond of reds
3. The microwave meal I should have had for lunch. (I woke up hungry 🤷🏾♀️)
4. Sometimes. I love baking and crafts I‘m hindered by my inability to draw though.
5. ID, I‘m always shocked at the amount of adults walking around with no identification.
#HumpDayPost @MinDea
Hmmmm- this was fun to began with but then went on to be about 100 pages to long. This is the third romance novel I‘ve read in a row but the least favorite.
Definitely not my first choice to read. I got this in one of the swaps. The writing is kind of terrible, however, it is a quick easy read that you don‘t have to put much thought into.
I wanted something more real than 50 shades. This is a story of real people, a bit of a fantasy, but a relatable.
@CocoReads You are seriously the best! Thank you so much for the books and blanket! I absolutely love the color of the blanket and it‘s so soft! Both of these books have been on my TBR for awhile, so I‘m really excited about them! And it was sweet of you to think of Lane and the baby- we don‘t have either of these, and they were favorites when I was little! We can‘t wait to read them tonight! @JoeStalksBeck @Tiffy_Reads #blanketandbookexchsnge
Day 4 of #150PnPCoverParty is #neighbors
Caroline and Simon are neighbors, and she has some noise pollution issues through their shared wall as a result of his late-night entertaining of ladies. Hilarity and steaminess ensue. I loved the characters and this book is really fun. 😃
(I guess my mind has been in the gutter the last three days for this photo challenge, but I swear I do read more than just sexy-times books!)
😂😂😂
I forgot I had this book on my kindle!
#GirlsJustWannaHaveFun
#FierceFeb @Cinfhen @batsy
Oh yeah, the girls Simon bangs against the wall want to have fun. One girl/woman even meows in bed, so much so that his neighbour's cat climbs the walls.
Sorry for the blurry picture. I stole it from the internet and it was blurry already.
Entertaining story, and I liked the Simon character. It was about 100 pages longer than it needed to be.
#KissKissBangBang
Guess I don't have to elaborate. 😁

#day30#septembowie #catpeople This book riot recommendation was my first try of romance genre...... It was a super fun romantic comedy- fluffy and light-hearted. This book "gives good banter" -starting with plenty of spiky, sexy sniping... with the verbal flirtation getting sillier and sexier as the story goes on. And it fits today's prompt because the heroine's hilarious cat Clive, is worth the read, all on his own! ?
Well this was such a refreshing read! I'm glad it lived up to my inner hype! I laughed; I teared up; I shook the book in frustration. It was just so much fun and I absolutely fell in ❤️ with the main characters.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love it! #currentlyreading
I finally caved and bought this book, because I love everything about it: the cover, the title, the synopsis. Everything. I hope the story lives up to my inner hype, because I'm diving in with eagerness! #currentlyreading
Okay, y'all were right about this book. Super funny! So much fun! I love all the characters but Clive the cat stole the show IMO. #BlameItOnLitsy
This book is total brain candy... it's laugh-out-loud hilarious, ridiculous, and very sexy. Caroline and Simon are both sarcastic and sassy.
#AndItsAugust #Sassy
The cocktail series are my take on #drinksoncovers for the #anditsaugust challenge.
This is a fun contemporary romance series if you are looking for end of summer reading.
Honestly, I'm a historical romance kind of girl, so this might not have been for me. I liked some of the snark, and I really enjoyed the subplot about Caroline's friends, but I felt like the book was a bit long for the amount of story. If that sounds confusing, check out the #EclecticReaders episode we did, where I explain a bit more: EclecticReaders.fireside.fm/38 . Glad I tried it though!
I made zucchini bread today and I thought of Wallbanger! 😂 Don't worry, no one got frisky in the dough 😉🥒

#EclecticReaders
Just received Wallbanger and 180 Seconds in the mail today and am adding them to my August TBR.
This is a #blameitonLitsy that got curious about, saw in scribd but decided not to spend a credit on. I did laugh at some (intentionally) funny parts, but I don't see how there can still be 75% left of the book. I fear it will be mainly snark/outrage, girlfriend gossip, and fancy interior designs. I wish pink nighty girl would just buy some earplugs and some personal "toys" and get on with life.
