I loved this strange, little book! It was an odd book, about nothing in particular, but I loved the characters and read it in 2 days. (17)

This was a nice, low key cozy mystery. The residents of the house get an eviction notice and start protesting. One of them gets attacked and put in a hospital. Dorothy has lived there for most of her life and it‘s a mystery as to why, that you find out. Kat is originally from this town and was compelled to come back. And you find out why. No murder in this book. It was good!
Got my quarterly #myTBR recs! There is a theme, all orange like covers! I had Best Hex Ever on my TBR before, but haven‘t heard of the other ones!
Why don‘t more people talk about Joy Fielding? Cul-de-sac is another gem—tension-filled, character-driven, and packed with secrets, lies, and a deadly twist. Desperate Housewives meets Big Little Lies.
A grumpy old man tries to hold on to what he knows in his little changing town. This was a really lovely story. A host of very individual characters and a lot of heart. I was definitely choked up at the end.
