This falls squarely in the 'literary mystery' camp (i.e. the not-fun kind 😋) , so not #kisskissbangbang in the traditional sense, but still fits I think. Modiano plays with the pieces of a mystery novel- mysterious woman, shady characters, lurid night scenes...murder. But instead of an A to B chronology, the MC remembers portions from different times, triggered by fragments of notes he took decades ago. Singular style with atmosphere to spare 🏙
#TuneIntoNovember #KissKissBangBang 💋💋💥💥I went with a mix of mystery/thrillers & the tagged book of true crime stories with 'kiss' in their titles as there's definitely some 'bang bang' in these too.😆 I've read & enjoyed them all-especially the Karin Slaughter & J.T. Ellison series. A Kiss Before Dying is old school but the book & both movies (1956 & 1991) are worth reading & watching. Mahalo @Cinfhen & @Robothugs for the fun 🎼challenge.💋💋
Don‘t know how much kiss kiss there is but there has to be some bang bang in these!😂 #KissKissBangBang

Beartown was a definite #FallFavourite, it gets 👍👍 from me, and with advances both welcome and very unwelcome and the repeated Bang! of pucks against the boards it's also #KissKissBangBang! Phew! Three challenges in one 😁

I have never really been a fan of action-packed #kisskissbangbang type novels, so I was surprised to fall in love with Lonesome Dove. Since finishing #lonedove I have been excited to read the rest of the series but am unsure which book to read next 🤔 There seem to be differing opinions on whether to continue in the order the books were published vs following the chronological life of the characters. Any thoughts on this??
