A dear friend made this adorable laser-engraved, cork paper bookmark for me! She has set up her Etsy store and has some fun items. I‘ve asked her to come up with a reusable cover for hardcover books! Fingers crossed for that!

I have two. My daughter loves colouring them. I admit I sometimes order from Book Depository just for the accompanying bookmarks. 😂 @abbsinwonderland

I made bookmarks out of last year‘s holiday cards. I put about 30 of them out with a holiday display on Wednesday at work. Today, there were only 2 left! I put another 20 or so out today but I need me cards! Wonderful problem to have! ❤️

Thanks for organising @Clwojick ! I hadn't done any crafting in ages - it was fun (if a little overly-experimental at times 😬) and I'm loving seeing everyone's bookmarks arriving.

I have not used actual bookmarks in a long time. I just kept losing them and felt so bad when they do. Eventually, I made it a habit to just grab whatever is within my reach (that's dispensable, and thin enough to not hurt the spine) whenever I had to put a book down for the first time. Usually receipts, top-up cards and train tickets like this one. 🙂

I got a couple new Japanese import bookmarks from one of my friends today. I couldn't help but pick up a few extras for upcoming swap partners. 😁

Can you believe I have never used a magnetic bookmark before?!? I finally had to buy some. I just got these Frank Lloyd Wright ones from Book Depository and I'm ready to try them out. My husband has already claimed the one he wants. 😂

I don't have any ink or many #bookishgoods but I do have a lot of bookmarks (love those magnetic ones!) and this awesome sign my sister got me last birthday. Also various bags and journals that I couldn't fit into the pic. #riotgrams

Here are a few of my bookmarks. I usually pick up free ones at the library, but any slip of paper will do in a bind. I never use the three on the left because I don't want to lose them. 🙂#bookmarks #booktober

For today's #booktober, here are a number of bookmarks currently in use in my house...it includes that bottom pink bookmark from my favorite used bookstores near my mom's house in California, a small stack of them from the Strand in NYC, a nearly 20 year old Borders Book Store bookmark from the original store (my old employer), a Spanish Vagina Monologues/Borders bookmark from my friend who used to be a Borders Special Orders clerk in Puerto Rico.

#funphotofriday time. I tend to collect bookmarks, lose said bookmarks and end up using a bill or receipt instead. At the moment though, my favorites are the one on the far right, a bookdepository.com freebie from 2014, and the beaded lotus metalmark that I made myself.

Anyone else addicted to bookmarks as much as books? This 'jewelry holder' is front and back and I love that it holds so many bookmarks!
