So I had an overflow of books, so I got crafty and built a new bookcase. I think it looks awesome. I have a LOTR section, 2 comics sections(one dedicated to Saga my favorite one), a Star Wars/Doctor Who shelf, a sci-fi fantasy, YA and finally an adult one. Love that I got to show off so great covers on some of the books and my Funkos!

pickLoved this book! Prunella is the best, she is letting no one stand in her way. You also get Regency England and magic, and a mystery of why magic is leaving England. Zacharias, as the head of the magical society in England is tasked with solving this problem. Both characters are POC which is not something you see in a Regency era novel. If you are into fantasy I'd say definitely pick this up. Book does look to be part of a trilogy.

I didn't know I wanted a book that was like Buffy in Regency England but glad I found it! I have no idea how Lady Helen is going to be able to fight the Deceivers and still remain a proper lady though. Little bit over half way through and I'm enjoying this.
