This is a really cute series. I just reread this first one in the series. A quick easy cozy read.

The tagged book is the start of the coziest cozy mystery series. They are short and sweet and a perfect little break between heavier stories.

1) I like both equally just depends on my mood.
2) Cozy are light with no real tension and usually an eccentric character or two. Crime novels are gritty with tension and usually a hard boiled character.
#Two4Tuesday. @TheSpineView Great question!

This is one of my all time favorite series. It is the coziest of cozy mysteries. They are short but delightful. She usually publishes one a year but is skipping 2020. 😟

If series are your thing, join @Andrew65 and post your favorites. I am always looking for a new series to dive into.
I really enjoyed the first book of this series. Lori grew up on stories of Aunt Dimity, never knowing she was real. Upon Dimity's death, Lori sets out to uncover a story that her mom never told. This isn't the typical cozy mystery, as there is no murder. There is however the ghost of Aunt Dimity. Will definitely continue this series. #cozyinthesun @ferskner @Librarybelle

This book was such a fanciful, warm, fun read! I have been reading a fairly intense book and Aunt Dimity was exactly the change that I needed. Full of fantastic characters and mystery - I would recommend.
I didn't hate this book.
But I couldn't suspend my disbelief when we got to the ghost part.
The romance felt a bit forced.
And the mystery wasn't that compelling to me.
Book haul photo 3. Have you read any of these books? Think I picked up some good mysteries here. #bookhaul
Lori has been adrift since her mother‘s death. When she is summoned to a lawyer‘s office, she expects the worst. She is told her “Aunt Dimity”, a woman she has never met but who kept her supplied with wonderful stories throughout her childhood, has died and left her a small bequest. This is a cozy mystery and saccharinely sweet romance. If you are in the mood, it will warm the cockles of your cynical heart (as you shake your head, of course).
Something soothing after my last read. A young woman down on her luck comes into an inheritance across the pond. She just doesn‘t realize her benefactor has stayed around to meet her! Family secrets stretching back to WWII and a cute lawyer....
What better start to the new year than a sweet, cozy mystery? I loved this book so much. It was the right book at the right time. A story that leaves the reader satisfied, but still wanting to read more about the characters and slip back into their world again and again.
Finishing the year with a cozy mystery book 😊

Years ago, I was crazy for this cozy mystery series. Nancy Atherton did a signing at the mystery book store I was managing, and used the cutest rabbit stamp as part of her signature. Aunt Dimity is a ghost, and she helps the main character solve mysteries using her journal. #SupernaturalBeings #Booktober
I just finished reading Aunt Dimity's Death this evening. It was a strong cozy, not watered down at all. It had a solid story line, relatable characters, and left me wanting to read more. This was the first time I've ever been interested in whether or not characters had feelings for one another.
Things are heating up between Bill and Lori! 🙈🔥💋 This is the first time I've ever cared if two characters ended up together.
A fun, light read. Looking forward to reading some more of the series. It even comes with a recipe.
Downloaded this today and am up to chapter 6 already. Am loving it. Thanks Attila
...same nickname as I have. ☺️
Rainy days like this are my favorite to spend reading, but all days are good reading days. WHAT KIND OF DAYS DO YOU LIKE BEST?
