I had to read this book to the end. I had to know. I think it might haunt me for a while
I had to read this book to the end. I had to know. I think it might haunt me for a while
I absolutely loved this story. Hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. A good old fashioned Irish tale. The ghosts got the best scenes.
I love this series. The characters, the setting, the great twists and the birds. Long wait for the next installment
Every bit as good as book one. Can't wait to find out what happens in the end. I'm dreaming about these characters, they feel like real people at the moment.
Huge read, took ages but thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I got caught up in this story and can't wait to read The Twelve.
I know it is a children's book but I was moved by this story. It has touched my soul, I am always going to look for the winged horses whenever I see a mirror.
A sad story, beautifully written. Superstition is a poor substitute for knowledge and education.
That took an age to read but was well worth it. Might wait a while before I launch into the next book of this series.
Nora had always believed herself to be a good woman. A kind woman. But perhaps, she thought, we are good only when life makes it easy for us to be so. Maybe the heart hardens when good fortune is not there to soften it.
I am totally caught up in this amazing story.
The second book about the sea detective was even more enjoyable than the first one. Had a great twist at the end I didn't see coming.
This was the second in the series. It was a very satisfying read, lots of suspense and character development. I lam a sucker for a good British murder mystery, and this is fits the bill nicely. Can't wait for the next in the series.
Just finished it so will need time to absorb it. Enjoyed reading it but not sure it has the same bang as the original series. Might wait a few weeks and then read it again a bit slower
Thoroughly enjoyable read. Great characters that I really got into. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series
A satisfying end to the series. I really engaged with the characters and didn't want the story to end. Desperate for the next book. And a picture of my cat Mr Skrimsli because I've leant the book to a friend.
Loved it. My favourite of the trilogy, set in Elizabethan London
Love the Iron Druid series. This one was every bit as good. Love the characters, especially Oberon, and can't wait for the next book.
There are so many gems in this memoir. Every time I read it I find some new reason to love it. I want it live in that Paris
A very quick read. I liked the main character and really wanted to see her happy. Not the ending I was expecting but satisfying anyway.
Looking forward to getting to know this amazing woman.
Every bit as good as The Rook and maybe even better. Funny, clever and entertaining to the last page. Loved it
When you're trying to read and the kitties want to sit with you.
Just stared this book. Had to do a quick catch up of The Rook as I read it a few years ago. Up to chapter 3 and enjoying it. Already. Just as well, it's a fat book.
Oh my gosh. That was awesome. I cannot wait for the next book.
Finally got a copy of this book. Really looking forward to not getting anything else done for a while 😎
Sitting at the beach reading this amazing book while words chase each other around in my head
A fun, light read. Looking forward to reading some more of the series. It even comes with a recipe.
Downloaded this today and am up to chapter 6 already. Am loving it. Thanks Attila
It was a nice quick read, stock standard murder mystery but I liked it.
Thoroughly enjoying this book. Don't mind a good murder mystery.
The thing I liked the most about this book was the way the authors use of photos in the story. It added a layer that I found unexpectedly delightful. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series
