Book 56 of 50 read. Book 9 of 60 in the series. They just keep getting better. I hope Peabody and McNab stay together 😘

#InDeathLongReadalong - wow so much happening in this book: Things are🔥up btw Peabody & McNab (everyone saw this coming); Eve has a nightmare about her mother for the first time (sad); a huge explosion results in mass casualties (very sad); and Peabody‘s brother gets into a bind. Okay a major bind - honestly he and Clarissa could be in serious trouble now. Im looking forward to the conclusion of this one. Roberts has certainly upped the stakes!

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.6-10: things are getting more serious as a group calling themselves Cassandra blows up one of Roarke‘s buildings and targets another. They see Eve as their adversary and she has ties to the highest “capitalist” of them all. Eve is trying to stop another bombing disaster like one that happened earlier in the century. ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.1-5: this one has an interesting start where Eve is called to a case where a man is dead and his lover/killer is awaiting the cops and ready to confess. At first we think this will be open and shut but it becomes more complex and there is the question of justice being served and what is the true motive. ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR we‘re on to the 9th book in the series and this one sounds explosive! As with the last book there are 22 chapters. We‘ll start out with our usual 5 chapters a week, then finish with 7 chapters for the last week. We‘ll check in this month on Nov 10,17,24 and Dec 1, the next few Sundays. This mystery series is just so good. I only just finished book 9 but readers who are up to date (50+ books), say it‘s still as good. I hope so because that means tons of great reading ahead 🤓

Book 9 in the series and I‘m loving it even more! The characters, the storylines and the world are all so well developed.

Here‘s my #TBRtarot pick for May 🤓
This has been on my shelves for a VERY long time.

Not sure if its because I'd figured out where this was going early on or if it was the multiple plots or a combination of those, but this one just fell a little flat for me. I did like that the steamy stuff was more directed towards Peabody, but the overall plot just wasn't there. Still plugging away at this series.

Although the plot about the bomber was interesting, for me this was all about the burgeoning attraction between Peabody & McNab. They have more chemistry than Dallas & Roarke for me. 5🌟

I would probably never catch up with this series but I don't mind because every time I pick up where I left off it's always a good fun read.

This series just keeps getting better!

One of my favorites in the series so far! Some really great Eve/Roarke scenes (duh) but also some 🔥 between Peabody/McNab (finally!). That plus a solid over-the-top crime spree made this a fun, fast read #romance

Slowly chipping away at my library holds which all came in at once (go figure, haha)

Still ignoring the physical books I have checked out...

This one is interesting in that at 25%, we‘re just now getting the crime from the blurb. I don‘t remember this one at all, and don‘t know how her side case is going to play into the main one.

My first finish for the #readathon! Granted I only had 15 minutes left on the audiobook, which amounted to a whole 5 pages 🤪. Another great addition to the In Death series. Someone copying an old terrorist group is targeting NYC‘s landmarks. It is up to Eve Dallas and her team to stop the attacks. It was so nice to spend some more time with Eve, Peabody and Roarke.

Not a such a special milestone but felt like sharing it 😀 I just wanted to say how happy i am to have this community of book lovers to share my favorite books with ❤💜 #Litfluence #Litsy
