My #weekendreads
1. Reading tagged and listening to You Lucky Dog by Julia London, which is very cute.
2. I think The Great Alone by Kristen Hannah is a quote.
3. From Crown of Feathers: “But that was the nature of life and loss: There was never enough time.”
Finished another #bookspinbonanza book. Six books down, and I‘m in the middle of three others. I‘m going to try and finish fifteen of the twenty books, so we‘ll see... 😁📚📖 @TheAromaofBooks #bookspin
Hmm... started it yesterday and while the writing is wonderful, I‘m just not feeling it right now. I do love these two OwlCrate exclusives together. Hopefully, I can come back to this and fall in love.
Thinking of trying Hunted by Megan Spooner instead. I certainly have many books on my tbr to choose from! 🤣
4/5 ⭐
This book took me by surprise.
I really like the world the author created. It's really unique.
#BookSpin for Feb complete! 🔥
Bruh. This book was *excellent* especially once it heated up. Accessible mythology full of badass warrior queens who ride phoenixes into battle, several stories of friendship foremost rather than romantic love alone, & so many twists I didn‘t see coming.
Definitely getting the sequel (and apparently a third part is out next year).
Thank you @TheAromaofBooks - kicking myself this sat on shelf for so long!! 💜👑🥚
About halfway through - the hype is def real and now I need to get the sequel and add to my #TBR so this #BookSpin to make shelf space is encouraging me to buy more. 😂🤷🏻♀️ @TheAromaofBooks
6 hours and 12 minutes so far for #24b4Monday
I am starting to like this book more now, after 204 pages. Not the best book I've read but it's interesting.
Great world building, thought. 👍
@Andrew65
It‘s time to begin my February #BookSpin - the race is now on to finish one of the longest books on my #TBR! 😭💪🏻 Can she do it?
Such a pretty edition - complete with sprayed purple edges that match my manicure. 😂💜 👑 🔥
My two picks for #24beforemonday.
Crown of Feathers (10 pages in from yesterday 😂) and Get a Life, Chloe Brown.
@Andrew65
Currently reading at the library. Waiting for my next class to start. 😊📖
My two next read. 📚
I've been on an adult romance kick this month. ❤
I decided to try to read at least one book per month on my kindle. I have so many. I can't resist when their on sales. 😊🙈
I never knew I needed a book about Phoenix Riders until now, but I do!! Veronyka has always wanted to be a Phoenix Rider, so she disguises herself as a boy to train as one. There are a lot of plot twists that kept me turning the pages. Plus look at that beautiful cover! #ya #fantasy #youngadult
I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with all kinds of YA Fantasy tropes, but they were well done. And the world was great.
“That‘s the thing about secrets. They never really die. Just as one bursts into flames, another rises up to take its place.”
—Nicki Pau Preto, Crown of Feathers
Holy moly Batman that character reveal at the end! Omg I didn‘t even, that thought never even crossed my mind!!
The world, the characters the magic everything was so well written. The first half was a bit slow but then everything fell into place and I just became so wrapped up in the story. There is no insta love, bonds are slowing forming and that‘s great! Tristan is without a doubt my fav, but honestly everyone is so likable (expect Val lol)
Been reading this beauty at work this weekend. And honestly I‘m enjoying it way more than I had anticipated. Highly suggest!
Starting my final book in this round of #lmpbc

Currently Reading this for my M & B Book Club over on Goodreads! 👌

I was almost halfway through this one, but the second senseless killing of an animal was enough. I turned it off and don't intend to finish it. A Booktuber, Hailey in Bookland, said that she was nervous about this one bc it was animage magic and she thought that might mean that animals could be killed, and boy was she right. The plot was not good enough to overcome that author choice
Started this beauty last night! I love the cover!! Isn‘t it beautiful? @InBooksILive @Pogue @Sharpeipup #LMPBC
My book mail for today 😍 #bookmail
What a happy Monday 💕
Despite my thoughts about the story, can we just appreciate this beautiful #Owlcrate alternate cover?! It's gorgeous with the dark purple background and the purple sprayed pages!
I really didn't get the hype around this book. So many people said they adored it, but I didn't see it. I was bored up until the last 50 pages and it took me around three weeks to finish all because I was bored.
#SpringintoReading
The first YA I've enjoyed in quite a while. There are tropes, but the writing style of the author is better than the last ones I've tried. She actually takes time to tell a story and set up a scene.
On the way to a friend‘s bday brunch one of the independents in the city had a free ARC table. They‘re now my fave.
Hi everyone! I just finished this beautiful book. After finishing it I can't stop thinking about it. I read this book in less than a week. I'm not sure how I did with work. I definitely recommend it! It reminds me a little bit of a dragon book. #litsy #kindle #kindlefire #paperwhite #library #bookgeek
This book is so so so good so far! I love listening along as I read!
