Aside from this having one of my favorite covers this was also a great book. I love the little extras that the novelizations provide. In this one you get a better sense of Rose & some longer scenes between Luke and Rey.

Good book but it didn‘t really add anything to the movie. This was my least favorite SW movie and also my least favorite SW novelization.

You‘d think reading it after seeing the movie would be boring, but you always get a bit more into their inner thoughts, motives, decision making...that for me always makes the story richer. Plus they always manage to include a few things that never come across on film, like BB8‘s discussions with Poe‘s ship Black One (which is as know-it-all as C3PO and totally vain), or R2‘s discussions with the multiple personality Falcon.

I listened to this one, and while it wasn‘t my favorite by any means, I did watch the movie with my kids during the same time and it added an extra layer of emotion. This movie is the most.depressing.ever; but my kids liked it and I cried and ya know, it‘s Star Wars 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

The first book was better. The Last Jedi was not a bad novelization, and was a fucking amazing movie, but as a novelization The Force Awakens was better. I can't even really put my finger on WHY this one fell flat, but it did. Still, overall a good sequal trilogy, and am DEFINATLY looking forward to how it all ends.

If you like the movie you'll like this adaptation novel!I loved the book just as much as the movie- I know that's not always the popular opinion but 🤷‍♀️

I enjoyed having extra scenes and dialogue- especially with Finn and Rose 💖 and scenes from BB 8's perspective!

Also Rey and Kylo -my favorites!!😍😍 #Reylo

🦄 The newest one! I was Reylo from the start, but I could watch that guardroom scene forever.

🦄 Rey! Kylo's little Rey of Sunshine, I think she's a delight and the new series made me a Star Wars fan.

🦄 I don't like comics, but the covers from the classic comics are a complete riot. There's one with Wicket that just says WUB on it and it's a treasure!

Wheeeeee Star Wars! Thanks @GarthRanzz

Another day sick in bed, but I used the time well. I read #thelastjedi in one day and I loved every moment of it. There were plenty of scenes that made my fangirl heart rejoice. Although every book has flaws, the ones that I enjoy the most allow me to overlook them. This one can be counted among them. I look forward to rereading it in the future. #reviewsfrommysickbed #starwars

More Star Wars! ;) I enjoyed reading an expanded version of The Last Jedi, with additional character interactions and other details that couldn‘t fit into the movie. It‘s a good read if you liked the movie and want to know more, although I felt some of the scenes worked better on film than the way the author transcribed them in print.

This was the first Star Wars book I've read. Picked it up because I enjoyed the movie. It was good while I was reading it, but I didn't feel motivated or interested to pick it up and read. The book added some background to the movie, but it could have added far more depth. Some parts seemed rushed. Random names of characters that show up just for one scene bothered me too. This was a rare case where the movie is better than the book.

Better than the movie, but I'm still not really enjoying the direction the franchise has taken. It was great to have the extra scenes and it cleared up some of the emotions that the movie muddled.

I‘m one of the few people that (despite its flaws) liked Star Wars The Last Jedi. I was looking forward to reading the Novelization as soon as I heard that author Jason Fry was named as the author. I have not read any of Fry‘s previous novel, but I can say that I enjoyed reading this book. #starwarsbooks #tljnovelization #bookporn

Welp. That novel destroyed me. I loved all of the Hux insight. Ben Solo‘s story is even more tragic than we knew. Rey was written superbly.
