Jabba assumes that Fett has double crossed him, so he puts a huge bounty on Boba Fett's, leading to an all out war among the bounty hunters. Part of the massive crossover with all of Marvel's Star Wars titles, it does lose some context read without the other parts of the story. ⬇️

TieDyeDude I like the current Star Wars comics, but the big crossover events are a bit frustrating. This was okay, but I didn't think it worked well as a stand-alone. They did a better job with the Crimson Reign crossover, IMO. 5h

5/5🌟 - If you want an in-depth look into important characters of The Phantom Menace then I‘d recommend these books. Queen Amidala and Darth Maul were my favorite, both showing events that happened before and during the movie that the viewer didn‘t get to see and added so much to the plot. These books are a fast and fun read but are so important to the plot of The Phantom Menace. #starwars #starwarslegends

This trilogy definitely improved over time. While not an essential story, it is a compelling story and excels in exploring a galaxy in transition after the success of the rebellion. Perhaps due to a lack of planning, the conclusion is extremely vague, but I enjoyed my time with these books. (Maul was not involved, but I had to share this Lego portrait that I finished last night!)
