pickI really enjoyed reading about Cal Kestis and his crew. I wish there had been more with Merrin, I love the Night Sisters. In this tale, they get wrapped up in a rescue mission with a storm trooper that had just deserted.

Bookish Songs Nr. 5( & 59: The Phoenix - Fall Out Boy & Big Bad Wolf - Roses & Revolutions
This book was so good, I found two songs for it! Or rather - they found me. First came The Phoenix and I immediately was like “That's it!“ I wasn't looking for another song, when “Big Bad Wolf“ came up and I listend to it twice, because first I wasn't paying attention too much. So I now have two songs for one book.

pickHow come that all those new Star Wars books are getting better and better? Iskat is so fascinating and Dawson really took her time to shape a deep character. I now also want to read the comics she's featured in. This book is a real character study and I was involved from beginning to the end. Wow!

pickAnother strong Star Wars book with very deep characters. I love the night sister and therefore had a soft spot for Merrin. I did not play the game, but I'm really thinking about it, so I could spend more time with this crew. I laughed with them, I cried with them and I worried with and for them. And while their characters grew, they grew on me.
