I have so many books I could discuss… besides the tagged one other would be “The History of Psychology” what would yours be? Let me know 🤗📚

I finished this yesterday, and I still don't know how to start talking about this book. I had moments in Gardens of the Moon where I thought Malazan might be the series for me; this one cemented it. There are moments of horror and tragedy in this book that only hit harder for being rooted in our real-life history, as well as its fallout. It took me three and a half months to read this, and I don't regret one second of it. On to Memories of Ice.
In a word, epic. Actually, that may be an understatement as this 800+ page chunkster takes you on a wild ride following secondary characters from the first book in this second installment of the Mazalan Book of the Fallen series. It has everything—rebellion, heroics, adventure, betrayal, gods, mortals, magic, the occasional dragon and more. If you like fantasy, you could do worse than reading this series. Definitely recommended.
Temperatures are falling into the 30s and I have a hot cup of tea which means it‘s the perfect time to curl up with some epic fantasy. I loved the first book in this series and I‘m looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
Pure down-in-the-dirt epic fantasy. Really enjoyed it.

1) I don‘t like characters that whine about everything, complain, or can‘t make up their mind 👀 it‘s aggravating
2) Coltaine in the tagged book made me read the whole series (10+big… big books) which I fell in love with
3) there are a few put Ann Patchett is one most will recognize along with Stephen Humphrey Bogart, Nathanael West most are screen writers but there are many others 🙌🏽📖🤗 thanks for the tag @EadieB
Kills me every time I read this series 😰📖… that ending hits the soft spot every time 🤨
https://youtu.be/AJRn--5rO3w I don‘t know is anyone listens to podcasts about books but… this was great 🤗📖
Well not that bad … but I‘m going okay with a little laughter 👀🤪🤣📖
I don‘t know if this has been shared but … so me 🤣🤣🤣
As good as the first time I read this now onto the next book in the series 📖😋
Starting this now I‘m still waiting for more books for February reading list 💁🏼♀️📚
When you get in that 10 or more book in a series type of moods 😝📖📚📚📚📚😋 (thanks “Epic Reads” for feeling my mood...) 🤣🤣🤣
Finally some nice weather! It's a beautiful Monday afternoon and it feels like forever since it's been nice enough for an #Audiowalk. 🤗
Finished last night. I don't think I'll be getting into Malazan but I'm going to give the third book a go in early 2019. I appreciate the epic scope but the story never concentrates anywhere long enough for me to feel invested or anything but removed. I said in my Goodreads review that it was like simultaneously reading a 2* and 4* novel 🤷
Yeah, yeah...its only noon.
But it's Monday (and I no workie today) soooo... 😎
🏃♂️ *runs off to get a glass* 🏃♂️
(I don't even know where these came from. They were just in the freezer. Waste not want not). 🤸♂️👀🤸♂️

1. Indiana Jones Temple of Doom, karate Kid, Terminator, Neverending Story, the Last Starfighter.
2. French Fries. With cheese curds and gravy! Poutine, baby! 🇨🇦🍟🇨🇦
3. Cypress Hill has a new single called, Band Of Gypsies I really like. Pumped for the new album to drop. 👌
4. Done. ✔️
5. Done. ✔️
Finally starting to find my groove with this.
It certainly isn't a cheery tale though. 🤣
The malazan series is crazy epic in scope and can be a little overwhelming at times - but holy hotdogs are they ever good! 🤘
Alright. It begins. I've read book 1 twice and book 2 once...the rest remain unread.
This needs to be rectified. Many fantasy fans claim this series as the best. While I can't speak to that personally (yet) I do need to finally see what the fuss is about. I'll be starting with a re-read of book 2 and finally begin my journey through this series.
For this book this was so true that‘s way I‘m getting the rest of the series so I can read them all 😝📖📚📚📚📚
Uh yea I really would like to meet Mr. Erikson some time 😳😝🤣
How I felt when reading this book I don‘t think I‘ve fully recovered because I‘ve picked up and started three books but haven‘t gotten very far 😢📖
Just finished this and I‘m looking forward to the next book, but I wasn‘t too happy when Coltaine and Duiker died even though it‘s obvious Coltaine will be reborn🧐🤨 I can tell that this series is going to be addictive as I couldn‘t put this down to get my course work completed but luckily I did 😝
How much of a difference is it going to make if I did start with the first book “Gardens of the Moon”?😳😖
Ok so I am a quarter of the way through this and I have to say it is addicting I can‘t or don‘t want to put it down. So I am wondering if I should just start getting his other books in this series 😳📚
I tend to read at a quick pace even with my course work. There are few books that I have to slow down for but this I can already tell is going to be one of them. I am trying new and different reading material so I pick this as one of the choices. I like the books so far it‘s just going to take me a little longer to get through especially since it is longer than a normal book 😝📖
On to the next adventure 😝📖
Far better than the first book. Erickson's character and geopolitical development are fantastic. The book contains seemingly non-stop action and excitement, as Erikson effectively supplements higher paced storylines with lulls in others.
I highly recommend this series for anyone who also likes Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series.
Love it, even though I really hate Felisin!
Good thing book 3 is already waiting for me 😊
New camera 😊 Prepare for some ultra-sharp book photos where every worn-off edge will be shown to the world 😂 I learned a lesson with this book: do NOT read 44 other books between the first and second book of a series. I did not remember anything
This description on the reasons behind the atrocities of war and war itself is so poignant and really lays it bare.
THIS. BOOK. OH MY GODS.
I really wanted to dislike Felisin, but she really is a strong character molded by her experiences. Heboric was a great foil to her harshness,&Baudin's death really shook me. The narrative is phenomenal, and I really grew to love Duiker, although I don't think he'll find peace in death for long. I think Kalam made the wrong decision in not killing Laseen, and I sobbed at Coltaine's death (and possible rebirth!?) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Humans were but one tiny, frail leaf on a tree too massive even to comprehend."
À sobering thought.

My usual reading companion is Blue, my Aussie. He's always patiently waiting for me to be done before he bugs me for a walk 😍 #photoadaynov16
lol I know I just went to the bookstore and I'm still punching through Asher's Dark Transformation, but I'm still stuck on this fucking series. >.< can't stop thinking about it so here we go again, bridgeburners!
"Children are dying."
Lull nodded. "That's a succinct summary of humankind, I'd say. Who needs tomes and volumes of history? Children are dying. The injustices of the world hide in those three words."
book 2 of Malazan Book of the Fallen. Second re-read. Still ripped the heart out of my chest and threw it to the chain of dogs.
'You can view the past as something like a mouldy old book. The closer you get to the beginning, the more fragmented are the pages. They veritably fall apart in your hands, and you're left with a handful of words - most of them in a language you can't even understand.'
I normally don't have a problem reading books out of order. Seriously regretting it this time. The world is so detailed and alien with no explanation. On the one hand, not having an author hit me over the head with explanations is nice. On the other hand, I'm so lost. 😳😂
