This was the next random pull off the shelf. Haven't been reading as much as I should lately. Serious case of writing brain 😨. But my novel should be finished by Jan. 31st, so there's that.
As someone with a music degree who's taught classical music for over a decade, this book is driving me crazy. (The number of bars will vary depending on the tempo of each movement and complexity of the thematic material.)
Morgen's a fantastic British author, and you should check out her work. She's also a cat lover and a great friend.

pickHas funny moments but more than anything it's unabashedly honest. She holds a lens up to her life (specifically her love life) to showcase her flaws and makes profound statements on anxiety, aging, and feminism. (If you don't like profanity or reading about sex, this is not the book for you.)

pickIf you're looking for erotic scenes, this book isn't for you. But if you like well-crafted historical romances with a dash of paranormal and a lean towards mystery, this is a great read.

Been doing more writing than reading these days, but this book is way better than I thought it'd be. I might have to review it when I'm done.
This massive book may take me a while. It's also super awkward to hold when I'm reading. And heavy. 😳
