Got an advanced copy of this via NetGalley. One of the best books I've read in a REALLY long time. If you enjoy multicultural historical fiction, I highly recommend this one.

Last post on this, I promise. But MY BOOKS FINALLY CAME! They feel like real books! This is so weird! Emotional overload! *deep breaths*
For #Pride2017 I'm donating 50% of my royalties for Fillius Glint ebook sales to a charity dedicated to saving LGBTQ+ lives across the globe. Please help me spread the word and raise funds for this important cause!
I can't believe my book is finally on Litsy!!! ☺️ I put together this collage to explain the story's aesthetic. Print copies available in stores next week. #newbook #debut #fantasy #scifi #weird #quirky #indie #magic
This arrived today in a surprise package from my mom back in the states. ❤️
If this sounds like something you'd like to read AND you are willing to give it an honest review on Amazon, please email me at contact@ditriemariebowie.com for a free copy.
A high-paced medical thriller. In-depth review here: https://ditriemariebowie.com/2017/03/15/medical-thriller-book-rec/
There were too many funny and quotable moments in this book, so I wrote a review, instead: https://ditriemariebowie.com/2017/03/08/fantasy-book-rec/
Proof I'm an author. I've tried adding my book to @Litsy several times but no luck. *sigh* At least Goodreads has it.
This quote is chilling given present circumstances.
The Litsy listing for this book didn't have a cover, so here's what it looks like. 😊
This was the next random pull off the shelf. Haven't been reading as much as I should lately. Serious case of writing brain 😨. But my novel should be finished by Jan. 31st, so there's that.
As someone with a music degree who's taught classical music for over a decade, this book is driving me crazy. (The number of bars will vary depending on the tempo of each movement and complexity of the thematic material.)
Morgen's a fantastic British author, and you should check out her work. She's also a cat lover and a great friend.
Nerding out and loving it. 🤓❤️
Bilingual typos are the best. (She wound up saying "crates/boxes" instead of "balls".)
An abundance of imagined tech that doesn't feel dated. Weird plot structure and the ending was blasé. Some fantastic ideas, though.
This book is a breath of fresh air. Space operas take a lot out of me.
Loving this book so far.
Dated and hard to get into. Not a lot of action or forward moving plot until about two thirds into the book. The ending was satisfying, though.
Not digging this book right now, but I could identify with this quote.
The images in this book are gorgeous. Also, two books I'm reading are "The Last H--" I wonder if that's a sign. ?
Has funny moments but more than anything it's unabashedly honest. She holds a lens up to her life (specifically her love life) to showcase her flaws and makes profound statements on anxiety, aging, and feminism. (If you don't like profanity or reading about sex, this is not the book for you.)
Some day I'll finish wading through this tome. Thought this was funny, though. 😂
Her show last night was amazing; can't wait to get started on her book. Also, here's another one of my favorite shirts from Out of Print. ❤️❤️❤️ @outofprint
Pirates to the core.
If you're looking for erotic scenes, this book isn't for you. But if you like well-crafted historical romances with a dash of paranormal and a lean towards mystery, this is a great read.
Trigger warnings: abduction, confinement, fire
Been doing more writing than reading these days, but this book is way better than I thought it'd be. I might have to review it when I'm done.
Taking sarcastic statements out of context is fun!
Took me a while, but I finally found something quotable in this tome. Arrrr! ☠
This massive book may take me a while. It's also super awkward to hold when I'm reading. And heavy. 😳
