Work progress in my home library - a side of the room I have not really shown in the past.

Catch up day for #LilithJuly - a migraine kept me from work and from basically everything else.

Now that summer is here, I get to spend time in my office! These are my new bookshelves. And for the puzzle lovers, I have a puzzle table under the main part of my desk that pulls out. I love it!

Hey @howjessreads, these are just the book #shelves. I have more shelves housing anything from mugs to clutter, too. ??

Also, I included one of each of my kids' shelves.

The shelf in the hallway houses books we share: dictionaries, reference books, cook books, favourite fantasy books that belong to all of us.

The large shelf next to my bed will be moved tomorrow, I want more space for yoga, so it has to move under the "cat barrier"

#31bookpics This is part of my #shelves which I‘ve recently organised. I made a feeble attempt to arrange according to some colours there but did not work out well. I won‘t be able to find my books if I arrange them totally by colours.

Every time I‘m in a bookstore

For this #shelfieSunday , I took a picture of my dining room table. It‘s become a shelf of sorts of books I need to catalog in LibraryThing before I place them on the bookshelves in my library. I also have piles of boxes and books in my library too. Kindly ignore the magazines and wine bottles and other non-book detritus...I‘ve been a tad unorganized of late.

Spot any must reads? Points to anyone who can make out some titles!

Finally got my books put on my shelves in the new place! I despise moving but I'm feeling at home in the new place at last.

The shelves are DONE! Thank goodness! 😁 There is a shelf for non-fiction that didn't quite make it into the frame, but I am so happy to be out of our last apartment and into something that looks pretty.

Also, just a quick takeaway while I was loading all of my shelves... Littens are a bunch of enablers. 😂 I wouldn't have half of these books without you guys (not a bad thing! 😉) Hoping to be more active again on here soon!

This is a common conversation at my house.

Today at work I singlehandedly moved the entire US history, US presidents. Latin American history, true crime, and memoir sections. 165 shelves worth of books! I‘m gonna be soooo sore tomorrow! But then at the end I made this display table of memoirs, and I love how it turned out! #behindthescenesatbookmans

I got this idea from an FB video on bullet journaling (?) *i cant find the video anymore, LOL* and tried to recreate in on my journal. So, im gonna add titles on the ‘spines‘ as i finish more books. :) I hope I remember to update this regularly, though! 😂 Good thing I can always crosscheck with GoodReads if i happen to neglect this. Haha

New year, new shelves!! @Chemisecure is a rockstar for moving everything around.

Well. Turns out all my shelves are warped because of all the weight from my books. The nails in the back of the shelves are all bent and there's a big gap in the back. So I had to stuff old washcloths in the gaps so no more books will fall through 😅 #needanewbookshelf #thisonehasbeenwithme #sincefetusclaire #alsowhyarecookbookssoheavy

My parents and niece are coming for a visit on Saturday. I have floors to mop, beds to make, bathrooms to clean, pictures to hang, groceries to buy.
So, you know, today seemed like a good day to re-organize my bookshelves. 🙂

#30DaysofReadathon Countdown - 28: #red

I don't have an awful lot of red books, but I have a red bookcase. And yes, it's messy and the books are out of control. All our shelves are overflowing. There are stacks on the floor too. We are (hopefully) moving within a couple of months, so more shelves will have to wait.

Most of the time I start reading something I got that week, so these are at risk of never being read, except for readathons or buddy reads. So, Litsy gives these books hope that they'll one day be read.

The bookshelves are full (I need to do reorganization) and I have to keep books where I can find a space...
