deleted some banned books, also some digital books are being edited even on books that have been purchased, what does this mean for the future of ebooks when books can be changed on a whim I would worry history could be written differently! This is sickening 🤬

I met a friend for lunch today, and we then went to the local Barnes and Noble after. I‘ve not been inside my local store since before 2020, so was amazed by the transformation (so much better layout) and the number of people shopping. Books are powerful!
I splurged heavy—book therapy is a thing—and walked away with these gems plus another copy of the Constitution, because it‘s good to have on hand. Free tote too with my membership!
I was cranking along through books but stalled out to go away for a weekend race with friends so not as many books the past two weeks as I‘d anticipated. #bookreport #weeklyforecast And yes, I‘m a day late again. 😂

First I walk around looking at my bookshelves and sigh dramatically. Then I pick up a few books, read a few pages and lounge on the couch consumed by ennui. Sometimes I‘ll scroll through Litsy looking for inspiration. Or I‘ll avoid looking at my bookshelves because I feel guilty. I‘ll look over my TBR and wonder what the purpose of it even is anymore. And then finally some book appeals and I‘m reading again.
