Repost for @Librarybelle
This is very low key—no tag list, so feel free to participate how often you would like. I am reading one nonfiction a month that looks beyond the history found in schools.
If you would like to participate, post your book and thoughts each month, using #RealHistory and/or #HonestHistory . I‘ll make a bibliography for those interested.

This is apparently my time period for movie watching.
Three faves: Babe, A Serious Man, Fargo (and In the Bedroom and Sixth Sense because I can't stop with just 3)
Thanks for the tag, @dabbe !

Thank you to everyone that gave their feedback on #QueerBC It's been really useful reading it all
I'm going to include more information about the authors and more reminders of the monthly authors. It's easy to lose track when everything is a month in advance.
There were several requests for an end of month discussion or check in post. How you enjoyed the author etc.
⬇️
Litsy is part of my morning routine with my coffee. This community always helps my day start off with a smile. My towering TBR is proof of how powerful your book reviews are. So many ways to participate and all open, inclusive, and kind.
Congrats on your milestone @CSeydel ! So glad you are here.

Before I make my April board, I just need to celebrate getting 3 bingos this month! I never do well reading from my board but somehow, I did well this month. 😁 #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks
Trying something different (again) for my quarterly bingo. I‘ve found I‘ve become a mood reader of late. I‘m five or more pages into about nine books right now. 😅 All are good, all have my interest, but none are the winner of my full attention. So instead of being hyper focused on what I need to read to get a bingo, I‘m leaving it to chance. ⬇️
We are beyond excited and grateful!! Baby Dillard coming in October!! 👶🏻❤️

Here is a little bit of fun for you. Do you know your adaptations?? Let us know what you got!!!
https://www.buzzfeed.com/kbball27/movies-based-on-books-trivia
Hello My Lovely Littens. Happy 1st of April and #StartASpark day. Today we will be talking about adaptations. I love finding out that something I have watched/ am watching has been written in book form. I try to make note of it so I can go look into later. These 6 books were turned into tv shows. I tried to find ones that aren't talked about a lot.
What are some of your favorite show adaptations? What do you wish was turned into a show?

I‘m happy with the books (audio, e, physical) I‘ve been able to clear off of my #Roll100 lists YTD.
There were so many positive comments left on my post last night that I think it‘s worth making this official.

I wasn't very consistent this month, I either read nothing or loads.
It wasn't a great month physically, emotionally or mentally. I think I read a bit more to cope with that and since I have now time when I was ill
