I‘m still alive. Getting over a horrible sinus infection but still kicking. I have managed a couple of books so I‘ll try to pop up some reviews soon. Mostly just wanted to talk about iBooks, does anyone else use it? I have a weird criteria for what I‘ll buy in ebook form and it‘s not a lot, but I wish iBooks had a feature to track when and how long it took you to read a book. That‘s all, hope everyone is well!

I like both depending on my mood. Harry Potter, though I did enjoy TMI (TID more than those though). I don‘t do either usually, if I have to close my book I just find my place after. Both are good, I never used to be into chocolate but have been lately much to the dismay of my skin. I think I‘m pretty fast.

I buy books. I am terrible for returning things so I don‘t borrow anything anymore. Milk chocolate all the way. Probably hardcover, I like the way they look on the shelf, but trade paperbacks are probably the easiest for holding. One at a time. Potato chips for sure, but for some reason they upset my stomach now so I can‘t have them in the house cause I have no self control.

BookishTrish I find potato chips irresistible too, but I can never sleep after eating them. 7y

Hello lovely littens! It‘s been a while! I‘ve been totally awol from here for a couple reasons, one I‘ve just been going through some stuff, and two I‘m feeling super crappy about the fact that I only read one (not very good) ebook this month. And that was it. So hopefully March is better! Hope y‘all are doing good and reading lots of excellent books! 💗

Book 11. 4🌟. Well written, nice romance, a little to insta love, and a trigger warning would have been nice- so here‘s one from me to you, there is rape in this book. The last third or so was kind of sped up and everything tied up nice and neat. I may or may not continue with the series in the future, still undecided.

Book 10. 4🌟. This was well written and I didn‘t see the ending coming. I get why it was written the way that it was and my problem with it was absolutely a “me problem” but I had a really hard time with it going backwards like that, I just kept getting mixed up about what had and hadn‘t happened yet.

Little_Reader I had a hard time with the reverse timeline as well. 7y

Book 7. 3🌟. I had a hard time rating this one. No doubt at all that John Green has a way with words. Full of terrific quotes, like quotes stacked on quotes. People don‘t talk like that though, not even just teens, I have never met someone who speaks in poems. Absolutely the way Aza‘s mental health was portrayed was great and I really felt for her. But the plot sucked, I‘ve read great books that essentially had no plot 👇👇

ContraryMary And this could have worked better without trying to have the “mystery” that went virtually nowhere. 7y
britt_brooke I agree the mystery was not needed. 7y

Book 4. 2🌟. I HATE giving bad reviews but I actually hated this book. I jotted down some notes as soon as I finished so I wouldn‘t forget why I was raging when it came time to review. — slut shaming. Body shaming. Controlling to the point of abuse. I hate to talk shit about something that someone clearly worked hard on. The style of writing was good but I can‘t in good conscience recommend this book.

Tadams4 Love your review! Honest and succinct! 7y
Prairiegirl_reading Fair enough that someone did work really hard on this but seriously it's time to speak up about this kind of thing. It's not okay and I think it's ok to say so. Haven't read the book but I'll take your word for it! 7y

Book 3. 4 1/2🌟. According to my goodreads review- I enjoyed this book, I just had some issues with the beginning and ending, lol. Maybe just because I wouldn‘t have reacted the way the characters did. The book was what I expected though and I experienced all the feelings I was meant to feel as I read it. There were parts and characters that I felt should have had a little more flesh to them. The ended was tied up a little neatly 👇👇

ContraryMary And quickly. And without spoiling anything hopefully I wish there was more women supporting women instead of what occurred. 7y

Book 103 for 2017. I‘m a big T.M. Frazier fan. While this wasnt‘t as good as some of the King/Preppy books or Rages book, I still liked it. Had a slightly different tone, while still clearly being written by Frazier. The sequel is in my tbr for his month, I fell into a slump almost immediately after this one so didn‘t make it far into it yet. (I‘m really looking forward to Smokes book being released.)

Good choice in narrators and good premise, though the twist was easy to see coming. Would read more from this author.

But then someone else posted last night about #Bookout and it looks really good too! I don‘t need both so I‘d love people who have used either or both‘s opinions! Bookout looks like it has great info graphics while Leio is fairly basic. (And is it worth 10 bucks for Bookout Pro?)

Book 94. Good book, I've ordered more of her books because I've liked the everything I've read so far. I had some qualms that I'm going to address in a spoiler comment below. 👇👇

ContraryMary I didn't love love the main character but I didn't hate her, I understood her feeling an immediate connection to William due to the circumstances but didn't like that she labeled it love and tried to get into that role. I also didn't care for the fact that the wife wasn't actually dead and they ended up back together though I can't explain why. And I have conflicted feelings with the way things were tied up with the sperm donor but I think 👇 7y

Is anyone else finding amazon to be really crappy lately? They used to ship things super promptly, and I'm not blaming them when the postal services take a long time, but its taking a long time for them to send things out, I end up cancelling preorders lately because I'd rather just buy it in store than wait. Worst part is though I just received a package five mins ago and there was zero care put into packing it up so every single book has a 👇👇

ContraryMary Ding in it. And one of them was a collectors edition and the cover was all bent up. They didn't use any packing materials so everything just jostled around this big box. I hate being a complainer I just feel like they've gone downhill, and as someone who has basically paid for one of their warehouses over the years it sucks. Book 90. (I skipped 89 because it's a secret, review will come eventually!) this was exactly what I needed when I read it. Sometimes you need something super light that you know exactly where it's going to go. As formulaic as some of these books are, they can be well written like this one was. Recommend if you need something that lets you just not think for a while.
