I haven't been online for a lot of time but I'd like to take a moment to wish Harry Potter and his wonderful creator JK Rowling a happy birthday!!!

1. Definitely! I love a book with a good cover or a good synopsis on the back of the cover.
2. I don't have a porch cause I live in an apartment but in my ideal reading location, yes.
3. Usually a stop-reading-anywhere person. Chapters don't really mean much to me.
4. No. I use whatever I find but I never fold pages!
@SilversReviews
This book was so insanely good! The end of A Court of Mist and Fury had me jumping to read this book and Sarah J. Maas did not disappoint. I loved every plot twist, every turn. I read this book in about a week and would've been faster had the people around me let me.
Here are my #MayStats. I read nine books (it felt like more). They were all great reads and all the characters really stayed with me.

And..... June's #ReadingResolutions are in! Really excited for June's prompts and surprised I made to my third month of reading resolutions. @Jess7
This book is one of my favourites with #MultipleNarrators. August's story really touched my heart and I absolutely loved it. I still recommend this book to anyone who will hear me

Reading with my lunch of Thai chicken and rice.... Arthur Hailey has me gripped!

Found this while looking for a book with a colourful cover. The cover is actually decieving to a much darker plotline. Might actually read this one day.

My mom's a huge Arthur Hailey fan so naturally it was the first thing she recommended to me when I asked her for book recommendations. I have to say, I'm enjoying it far more than I anticipated. It's just the book I needed in the midst of fantasy and YA with a lot of airport related trivia
#Airport #ArthurHailey #RecommendsDay #suspense
Jem and Tessa's #Wedding was so sweet, I had to reread it over and over again to make sure it was real. It was added in at the end of Heavenly Fire as a comic strip.

I solemnly swear I'm up to no good.....

1. Hunted by Meagan Spooner
2. I always loved reading. I had a kid's library membership at the age of three or four but reading Harry Potter turned me into the fangirl I am today
3. I can read at any time of the day but I prefer the afternoon.
4. Harry Potter and the Mortal Instruments. They have such awesome worlds!
#ManicMonday @JoScho
The Weasleys are my favourite #FictionalFamily. I mean how could you not resist the joys of living in The Burrow and eating Mrs. Weasley's cooking all day long? Quidditch with Ron and Ginny and pranks with Fred and George.

I can't believe Park puts on eyeliner!!!! This book is nothing like I expected and it continues to surprise me. I love everything about Eleanor and Park's tentative romance. It's so cute.

I'm trying to read this book but Rick Riordan's writing had gotten quite insufferable in this book. He tries to keep up with Apollo being vain but takes it too far and tries to combine that with the humour in Percy Jackson which just didn't work. It feels like it's dragging on and on.

1. My sister, like always. And slow internet.
2. A nice Mother's Day gift for my mom and something for my parents anniversary.

1. Trees from a recent road-trip. I just thought it looked cool
2. No, I'm not. I'm a bit of a free spirit when it comes to reading and I really switch between books a lot based on my mood.
3. I bought a phone stand for my phone recently.
4. I honestly have no idea. I eat whatever my mom makes cause it's always good.
5. Chocolate! 🍫🍫

This has been on my #TBR list for far too long. I enjoyed the movie so reading the book must be better. Definately will get around to reading it one day.

Sat down with a bowl of noodles to start my latest read- Eleanor and Park. I don't usually do romance but it's a Rainbow Rowell book and such a sweet story, I just want to read more. It has me absolutely hooked
#BookNLunch #EleanorAndPark #RainbowRowell #Romance
1. I don't really have a favourite beach read but I'll read anything light on the beach. I'll probably end up reading one of Enid Blyton's Famous Five.
2. I have an obsession with dolphins and whales. I love them!
3. Any beach with blue water and white sand and not too many people.
#ManicMonday @JoScho
Ever wonder how young Alec, Izzy and Jace met? This heartwarming story is just about that with our favourite Silent Brother- Brother Zachariah making an appearance. I honestly wished the story was longer but for TMI fans, I definitely recommend it!

Borrowed Taken at The Flood from the library but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Agatha Christie is the queen of #suspense and I've been reading more of her since some one gifted me Unexpected Guest.
#SuspensefulSunday #ReadingResolution @Jess7
This #FiveStack is some of the most valuable books I own as they were all gifts. The Circus Collection book and Little Women are really special to me as one was my mom's childhood copy and the other was my mom's favourite childhood book and she found it on Amazon after a lot of searching.

For yesterday's prompt: #Magic, I had to tag Harry Potter. I'm overly obsessed with Harry Potter and it definitely opened my eyes to what magic can be. It doesn't have to be childish and witches don't have to be evil.

Here are #May #ReadingResolutions prompts. I had tons of fun in April. Going to try to try to be more regular this month. @Jess7
1️⃣ I'm reading A Wrinkle in Time and Iron Trial
2️⃣ I actually have quite a few of the books I'm desperate to read.... One is probably Son of Dawn
3️⃣ Sci-fi
4️⃣ I used to collect pen caps because I'm really prone to losing them. So I would just go and either use a cap of the same pen or find one that fit.
5️⃣ @Jess7 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @RaimeyGallant @BookaholicNatty @Chelleo @Tessa_Herondale

I found this book so-so as it didn't live up to my expectations. Its a book about four high school students with various family and life issues watching a plot unfold. They have almost nothing to do with the plot and just go about with their love life issues. I didn't enjoy it much. As a realistic-fiction read its alright.
1. We went to a local hill station this weekend. Here's a pic of a tree I was sitting under.
2. I do watch a little bit of America's Got Talent and X-factor if it counts as reality TV
3. Ready Player One! I could go on and on about the book.
4. Bookmarks
5. I don't really buy books anymore but I got Red Queen on my Kindle recently
#HumpDayPost @MinDea
1. Mortal Instruments/ Harry Potter/ Percy Jackson
2. Almost anything my mom makes. Her cooking is to die for (at least in my opinion)!
3. I don't watch any seriously.
4. @Tessa_Herondale

Tris constantly expresses her opinion about #Power in the series and I thought it was necessary to quote her for today's prompt.

I started this book yesterday. Not quite what I expected and it seems a little childish right now although, I really love Charles Wallace and Meg's mom. I hope it gets better or I might bail it.
This book was such a ride. It starts off really cryptic and you really can't connect the chapters and what happens in them. You want the book to go faster but then towards the end you just want it to last forever. I love the air of mystery about this book. A beautiful blend of fantasy and romance with great character development. I definitely recommend it!

Harry Potter is one the most accurate #BookToMovie I have seen. Even then, they miss out some pretty big things (like Peeves!)
Percy Jackson movies is a topic I would reader forget about because they were inaccurate and horrible!

Baz is my #misunderstood character. Although everyone accepted him at the end, for most of his school life, he was made a villian by Simon. He did some stuff to earn it but after a point, he loved Simon and Simon thought he was a supervillain. No one deserves that.

1. Chicken wrap. I had it for lunch yesterday from the cafe under my art teacher's studio because we were there for most of the day.
