I enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty fun and spicy. Characters could be a little childish at times but I liked it. I‘ll never see candy canes the same way

I absolutely loved this one! It was so fun and the spice had me blushing multiple times! A great book to end the year!!!

I loved this one! A lot of reviews that I‘ve said, say that the FMC and MMC‘s banter is just childish and annoying, but I thought that it was hilarious and delivered well. The candy cane seen also destroys a lot of people, apparently, but I‘ve read way worse 😅. What I do agree with, is that it could have been shorter.

I set myself a challenge of 45 books this year. I have really slowed in the last month or two... I feel like I'm slipping into a reading slump. I'm thinking I should maybe stick with 45 books for 2025!? I need some really good reads to get me back on track! My faves this year have been books by Richard Osman and Elsie Silver. This fun #jolabokaflodswap book was a very nice end to my “only silly holiday books in December” tradition for this year, and I‘d recommend it to anyone who loves a bit of spice in the romance. That being said, I did find the narrator inserts and the bits in verse a little jarring.

This book was way too long and ridiculous with the sex scenes . I liked the concept because I love the grinch. I know this will be an unpopular opinion but I didn't like the book. I should have DNF'ed this one. My bad on that because it was a total waste of good reading time. It was so cheesy and I didn't care for the characters. Don't get me started on the plot... which was just bad.

I‘m struggling to get through this book for my book club. It started so slow, and I don‘t like either main character. It‘s too bad, because the premise is so cute. To add to my disappointment, clearly this was rushed through edits… I have never seen a production note left in a book before! (Page 281 for those who want to check your copy.)

I enjoyed this fun holiday read. I alternated between the ebook and audiobook and loved the narration. Aunt Cindy and Max were great supporting characters who provided some hilarious moments.

Did we really need a Grinch-inspired romantic comedy this holiday season? Yes. Yes, we did. It‘s a little long and a lot silly, but I had fun with it. The audio production added to the experience. Merry Grinchmas! 🎧

Good book. Started out a bit slow for me. But ended up being a good book.

Yesterday my town held its annual holiday celebration! There was a Christmas market, a parade, and a tree lighting ceremony! 🎄🎅🏻⛄ I got to be a part of the parade and the library even decorated our book bike to look like a snow globe! It was so much fun! Of course I was reading my current Christmas book while waiting for the parade to start! 🤭💕📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️ If this had been around 300 pages, it would‘ve been a cute holiday romance, but at nearly 500 pages? A corny holiday contest doesn‘t need that much explaining. Get. To. The. Point. Honey. We all know where it‘s going, let‘s get there efficiently. Giving a third star because I needed a no-brainer, but I‘m still salty about the page count. Not in a hurry to read Quinn again.

This was too long (nearly 500pp). So Grinch adjacent, it was cringe. Why does the narrator have to break the fourth wall? Why the overly grumpy big sister? Why all the weird Christmas competitions? Why this stupid 3rd act break-up? Why not more focus on the romance between the main couple, outside of the 🌶️ scenes? Feels like they went from insta-hate to insta-lust to Insta-love. And that epilogue?

Very un-MeghanQuinn-like. 😐
