Overall, I was very disappointed with what I got. For as excited as I was to read this book, it was a big letdown. This was my first book by this author. Will I read another? Probably not. I wouldn‘t recommend this book. I will be rating it 3 stars as the main parts were an enjoyable read. The past lives were just filler, and not done well.

The Bone Clocks: A Novel | David Mitchell

I really struggled with this book. It had way too many POVs for me. I would have preferred the book to have been limited to Holly & Marinus. The rest is just background noise. The book did get better, but it had dragged so much in so many spots that I just wanted to be done. I rated it 2 stars. (this is my last book for January- I am updated!)

I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely read more by this author. However, don't get me started on the parents that were portrayed in the story... some of them need some serious help! LOL! I gave this book 4 stars. (January)

I struggled with this book. It was slow at points and fine at others. Then it just ends without wrapping everything up. I wanted more of a conclusion for this poor guy. I felt like he was just left hanging with his life in shreds. I rated it 3 stars. (catching up from January)

Country Girl: A Memoir | Edna O'Brien

So, I intended to read The Country Girls by Edna O'Brien for my book club, and I downloaded her biography instead. I read the whole book BEFORE I realized that I was reading the wrong book. Unfortunately for me, I am not a fan of non-fiction. it just isn't my thing. Totally my fault for not verifying it was the right book, BUT the titles were almost identical, and it was the same author. I gave it 1 star. (Jan)

This was by far my favorite book that I read in January. I couldn't put it down. I read all 673 pages in one sitting. It's insane how good this book is. It will be hard to beat this one. Obviously, I gave it 5 stars.

This is one of my favorite series. I love revisiting this family from time to time. This book was full of adventure and danger (just like always). At this point, time is truly irrelevant as they have changed the course of time. They live in an alternate timeline. I love how they can effect change in their world and bring things from the present back with them despite the dangers that they face. I rated it 5 stars. (from January)

I absolutely loved this book. My only complaint was that there was no sequel. I really wanted to read more. Where was the follow-up story? There is totally room for a sequel here. (catching up from January)

The different races were fun to learn about. I really enjoyed this book, and I will be reading more of this series. I need to know what happens next. The author left so many unanswered questions, and I am a curious sort. I rated this 4 stars. (catching up from January)

I don't typically read short stories, but I really enjoyed several stories in this one. My favorite story was Once Upon a Time at the Oakmont. I do think several of these stories could be made into full stories or a series. I would be interested in reading more. Others, not so much. I rated the overall book 3 stars. Overall, I found the book obvious, but not in a bad way. It was a lighthearted romcom. The MC found herself in many situations caused by bad decisions. Then, her resolution didn‘t help any. It helped her make more bad decisions because that wasn‘t what she needed or wanted. I rated this a 3-star book because I enjoyed it, but it wasn‘t earth-shattering good. (catching up from January)

I found this book interesting. Two, once close, brothers lose their father and handle the grief in totally different ways. However, they both have deep-seated issues. One more than the other, and he comes off as a bully and insists the other has more problems. The book is slow and dry in parts but interesting in others. (catching up on January)

Overall, it was a very quick and easy read. I did enjoy the mystery and all the subplots that distracted me from discovering the real murderer. Will I read more by this author? Maybe. If a book fits a challenge or is on one of my memberships. For now, I will be rating this a 3 star. (catching up from January)

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a fun read. The mystery wasn‘t super obvious and I liked the history aspect and art world side of things. I would definitely read more by this author. I would rate it a 3 star. Nothing over the rainbow spectacular but a nice comfortable mystery. (catching up on January)

Overall, I loved Race to the Sun. The characters were vibrant and fun. I loved learning about the Twin Heroes and the Trials. It was an amazing journey, and I was disappointed when it ended with a proper wrap-up. There were lots of unanswered questions. However, I still gave it 5 stars because I loved it so much. (I am catching up on January books)

I typically don't enjoy romances as much as I did this one. It was just so much fun. It was funny and held my attention. I really did like this one a lot, and I am not a romance reader. I gave it 5 stars (catching up with my January books)

I thought this was a fun and unique spin on how the story of Sleeping Beauty came about. It did have a bit of a slow start but it definitely picked up. I would give it 3 stars.
