I loved Selina, she was tough but at the same time had a good heart. Luke was likable too, but not as interesting as Selina. I also adored Ivy & Harley and the group's chemistry and friendship.

This had the same kind of atmosphere than Gotham tv-series!

I was surprised! I always love that and somehow I was really blind - or blinded - and didn't guess where things were going. I really loved the ending for that reason.

This one has been on my “currently reading” pile for awhile so feels good to finish it! It had kind of a slow start in my opinion but I liked it once it got going.

I really liked this book. I‘m a fan of DC icons and Marvels. This is about the origin of Catwoman and her relationship with one of Batman helpers, Batwing. Sounds cheesy and stupid but the story is full of action. It was like seeing a DC movie with all the unreal fights, suits, villains. As in movies, some problems were resolved amazingly unreal and some cheesy little romance. The end? well find out. For a YA story it was amazing for me 4⭐️

This book was amazing! I absolutely loved the plot, and the small details that are explained at the ending. I loved the links to the DC universe, with some of our favourite characters, locations and backstories. I loved the friendship between Selina, Ivy and Harley, plus the small sweet romance. Selina was written perfectly, and I loved her as a character. The sort of dual POV was great as it gives both sidew of the same story. Overall I loved it!

This was so fun and Selina is 100% more interesting than Bruce Wayne. And Luke Fox is also 100% more interesting than Bruce Wayne.

Not gonna lie. I never really shipped Selina Kyle with anyone because her and Batman never meshed for me but oof in this story her and her not-Batman love interest got me shipping hard. No spoilers but this one is better than BatCat by far

Overall, I thought this had an interesting storyline, despite glossing over some elements. I really loved the dynamic between Selena, Ivy, and Harley. They kind of made the story, although each of the characters could have had more character development...especially with Selena‘s sister, Maggie. And lastly, the narration was decently performed by Julia Whelan...she isn‘t one of my favorites, but I‘m warming up to her.

Sarah J Maas is absolutely brilliant when it comes to writing kick-ass women who can and will kill for the people she loves.
This is definitely my favourite of the DC Icons.
It's got everything I love; a stong female lead, female friendship, a lot of fighting, bad guys falling in love with good guys and visa versa.
The only thing I missed is Batman, Gotham without Batman just doesn't feel right.

I'm combing my #BookSpinBingo and #TheReadingRush for this one.

And I'm really curious to read Soulstealer, everywhere I go the praises is high!

I haven‘t finished a book since I finished House of Earth and Blood, so clearly the only solution is to read the only SJM book I haven‘t picked up yet! 🦹🏻‍♀️

I wasn't really impressed with this book. It could also be that it just wasn't a Maas kind of story. It took a very long time for the book to pick up. Almost to the very end, which left me wanting more right at the end. It just felt that it should have been the middle. I liked what she did with the story. It wasn't bad, I did finish it. Cat Woman is just one of my favorites and I didn't feel like the Author's heart was in it.

I really love Sarah Maas, but I was originally hesitant to pick this up because I‘m not a big DC fan. I ended up being pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed this Catwoman story. The villains were fleshed out and given interesting and sympathetic back stories. And there was enough action that it was a fast paced read.

Day 14- When I thought about #poison, Poison Ivy came to my mind first, even though I‘ve read several books lately that use poison. I haven‘t been into comic book characters in the past, but I really enjoyed the tagged book‘s characters & friendship that developed between Harley Quinn, Catwoman, & Poison Ivy. Of course, all the photos I found are specialized. 🙄

I‘m a SJM fan, but i just couldn‘t get into this one regretfully.

What a fun introduction to Catwoman!
I've always liked Sarah J Maas so of course this book was great!
I liked that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy teamed up too.

Catwoman was my favorite Halloween costume when I was little. I didn‘t read the comics and haven‘t seen the movies though. This series of DC superheroes, written by authors of well-known ya series, has been good so far. Liked Wonder Woman, and loved this one. Several important DC characters in it, character depth, and an engaging story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got to see the Grand Canyon yesterday, then went on a Jeep tour where I saw the Batman symbol! It goes along with my tagged book, even though batman isn‘t in it, he is mentioned frequently. My Fitbit went crazy with the Jeep tour—it added about 8,000 steps, 40 active min, & a bunch of floors. #BFCr2 I did get walking in at Grand Canyon 2/4 this week.

Haven‘t done any reading yet on my first day in Sedona, but we are taking a siesta for awhile. As expected, I hiked about 2-3 miles this morning, saw some beautiful scenery. The 3 hr time difference makes me think it should be really late in the day. #BFCr2

Hanging out at Dallas airport for a bit while waiting on flight to Sedona/flagstaff. Even though I have my carry on, I‘m going to get some steps in & play wizards unite. #BFCr2

Why I should read a book about a comic hero, when I can read the comic? Particularly last week the new catwoman comic series started (in german).

And I wouldn't commend it to younger teens because it includes much violence.

I enjoyed Maas' take on the back story of Selina Kyle. It was interesting to see the transition into a badass with an agenda. The tension between Kyle and Luke Fox (Batwing) was steamy, slightly trashy, and overdrawn. But I was living for it! 😂😂 I guess I'm also way behind on the times with my DC knowledge bc there was definitely some unexpected LGBT rep involved with this book as well. Overall, I liked this one. 4🌟

I LOVED this book! Seeing a young Selina Kyle work through traumas and difficulties to become such a bad*** character was so much fun. I loved that there were many other characters (Harley and Ivy ❤️), making the story even more chaotic in true Gotham City Sirens fashion. I‘ll definitely be continuing the series.

I read the Wonder Woman one a while ago and so I picked this up. Catwoman teams up with Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn to rob Gotham. It was a fun read and an interesting take on the comics. #DC #Catwoman #PoisonIvy #HarleyQuinn #YA

This isn‘t normally a book I would read, but I‘m so glad I did! I loooove superhero/villain movies with a passion, but this book appealed to me because 1) I wanted to know more about Catwoman, and 2) I like that it‘s written from a “villain‘s” perspective. It was also on sale and so many rave about Sarah Maas on Litsy. 😁😂
