Here‘s my #TLT 3!
1️⃣ The Princess Bride movie is perfection & never needs to be remade & it‘s much better than the book! 👑
2️⃣ I love Neil Gamin‘s Coraline, even better than the book is the audiobook & Dakota Fanning & Teri Hatcher make the stop-motion animated film another level of creepy good! 🖤
3️⃣ The tagged book was only so-so but add Anna Kendrick & Blake Lively & I can watch the film version over & over! 👯♀️
Finished my #BookSpin Book today and now I‘m gonna enjoy the movie again :) #BookToScreen @TheAromaofBooks
This is my #SpanishAudible pick for #BookSpin pick :) I read the English version a few years back and watched the movie (really enjoyed it so, this is a good re-visit to practice my Spanish comprehension). @TheAromaofBooks
Gone Girl meets suburban mom. Very twisted read, which made it harder to put down. Read it!
3.5/5 🌟
I think I liked the ending of the movie better. There was closure unlike the book.
Doing a watchlist was the hardest part cause mostly I just re-watch whatever I‘m in the mood for! 🎃 #scararhalon #teammonstermash @StayCurious
Since I am on quarantine till my procedure next week (got my covid test yesterday!) I got a nice little haul from the library to hunker down and read for my new years! Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2022 with lots of good books and time with loved ones❤
I did it! I finished my #DoubleSpin book with 3 hours left in November!
I didn‘t really enjoy the ending but the other 80% had me absolutely hooked.
I also forgot to mark a DNF on my board earlier so that‘s updated too.
Thanks to these Litsy folks for today‘s prompt:

Today‘s Prompt: SIMPLICITY DAY
A SIMPLE FAVOR is an excellent psychological thriller that kept me guessing and wondering what really was going on in the lives of the characters.
Have you read this book?
It definitely is NOT a SIMPLE favor.

Book 99
A different twist than the one in the movie, still a good shock factor. Sadly I think the movie was actually better than the book on this one.
I will say I liked the movie better but the book was good. Maybe I would have thought great if I hadn‘t seen the movie first.
This is one of those cases where the movie was better. I can't say much else without spoiling it, but the book's plot twist wasn't nearly as exciting.
Anyway, Winston tuckered himself out playing with the ball and didn't mind me setting the book on him for a photo. Maybe I should start yet another Litsy, "BooksOnPets". (Kidding this time ?).
This wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing either. I love dark twisty thrillers with disturbed characters doing awful things. This book wasn't that but it was still an enjoyable read. I loved the dark humour of one of the female characters it was engaging. Two fairly new best friends, one asks the other for a favour and then she goes missing. It was fun, twisty, engaging, definitely worth reading. ⭐⭐⭐
He uses my chair as a chin rest when I read. 🤣 Can you spot his crooked little teefers?
I switched books...again. My attention span is at an all time low. 😅
I loved the movie based on this book, so I'm hoping the book is just as good. Also, enjoy my Saturday aesthetic: llama cactus pajama pants covered in dog hair, while being stared at by the shedder in question.
I saw the movie and thought it was the weirdest thing ever. After reading the book, I can say that it's still really weird. It felt like I was reading a compilation of Bond villain monologues with a sprinkling of fictional blog posts tossed in. Having the story told from multiple perspectives was beneficial, but none were of characters I was rooting for.
Hoping to read this during the quarantine. It‘s from my first book outlet haul of 2020.
I was a little scared to read this considering how terrible the reviews are, but I didn‘t think it was that bad? Not a new favourite by any means, but not a bad way to spend a couple hours.
I think I'm done for today.
Second day of #24B4Monday is almost finished and this is my progress so far. I've finished A Simple Favor and Clockwork Angel (I was halfway through this one) and I'm a third into The Mystery of the Blue Train.
I will try to read tomorrow as much as I can, but I doubt it I will get much reading done since I'm pretty busy tomorrow.
All in all I'm really happy with my time.

1) Less as of right now. Yesterday was my 1st day of true social distancing because up until then I still had work. I did a lot of cleaning yesterday, so today should be pretty much devoted to reading I hope...
2) Anything that distracts me enough so I forget for a little while- paranormal books are my current go to
1) tagged book, a cozy kindle read and a audio book
2)Verity By: Colleen Hoover
3) Meeting my friends new pupper!!
#weekendreads @rachelsbrittain
1) tagged book, also several I'm working on for book clubs
2) Not now
3) Not at my new place, but at my parents- turkeys, chickens and guinea hens...I also have been adopted by their neighbors cats 😂😂😂

I was a little nervous to read this from reading all the mixed reviews. Even though Stephanie was a little annoying and extremely oblivious, I really enjoyed this read. I was sucked in from the very beginning.
I finished A simple Favor this morning. I plan to watch the movie soon! What were your thoughts on the book?

Today‘s Prompt: FAVOR
A SIMPLE FAVOR is an excellent psychological thriller that kept me guessing and wondering what really was going on in the lives of the characters.
And...the FAVOR definitely wasn‘t simple. 😊

I must admit, I hadn‘t heard of either this book or the film of it until searching for something for this prompt. It employs the unreliable narrator technique and is told through multiple POVs. Sounds like a fairly run of the mill psychological thriller tbh. Anyone read it and recommend it?

#ASimpleFavor #DarcyBell
A Simple Favor is the debut thriller novel by Darcey Bell. It was first published on March 21, 2017, by Harper. The novel centers on Stephanie, a mom blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's sudden disappearance from their small town in Connecticut.
Also made into a movie in 2018.
If you're looking for the martini scene sadly it's not there. ?
"And don't add f***ing ice. Ever.... That ? ruins everything." ? #martinimonday
I did like the different POV's in book. I'm glad the movie dialed back all of Stephanie's momisms. It was incredibly annoying. Book ending was different but I liked both. #bookvsmovie
SPOILERS AHEAD. It's going to be impossible to discuss A Simple Favor at all without spoilers, so be ready.⠀

The audiobook uses three readers for the three points of view in the novel. The first section of the novel focuses entirely on Stephanie and her blog. Stephanie is a widow and mother who is still reeling from the death of her husband and her half-brother in the same accident. ⬇️
Twisted, horrible characters. It was a quick read, but there were no characters I enjoyed.
I've been meaning to get this book since the movie came out, and I found it for free right now with my Kindle Unlimited subscription!!! So I'm hoping to finish this by the new year! #WinterGames #slaybells @StayCurious @Clwojick
A good psychological thriller though there are some slow parts. The ending was a jaw dropper. I read this for movie/book club.
It took me quite a bit to get into this book, but now I am halfway through and I cannot put it down!
Well... I really want to see the movie but I know I need to read the book first. Hopefully I like both!
Rating: 4/5 stars.
This book was really good. I enjoyed the story and enjoyed the movie as well.
So I started and finished this book today. It kept my interest but I was disappointed in the ending. But it's off my TBR shelf, time to move onto something else.... I will probably watch the movie just to see how it compares....
I watched the movie a few days ago, and didn‘t even realize at first that it was adapted from a book. It isn‘t great, but it has quite a bit of suspense as they try to find out what happened to Emily. #scarathlon #TeamSlaughter
Finally getting a chance to watch this domestic suspense film thanks to Prime Video! I love the casting. It's perfect. I'm thoroughly entertained so far. #Scarathlon #TeamStoker 1pt
Several days later, I‘m still snickering to myself over this line.
