I absolutely adored this romance novel. Characters in Talia Hibbert's books are everything. I love how they all have their own little problems and how no one is perfect, but still they manage to grow a little bit till the end of each story.

There is a trigger warning for grief and as a person who is still struggling moving on after the death of a loved one I found it really well written.

I think this might be my all-time favourite romance.

I finished this. Finally.
I love it.
I mean, Aciman quotes Wuthering Heights... I couldn't not love it after that.

Do I recommend it?
No.
It is a bit disturbing/creepy.
Elio's head is not a place you want to be in.
But.. I like my characters odd/flawed.

This book is so good and so well written. I found out about it through Blackout buddyread on Twitter and I am so happy I did.
I was aware about the situation in the USA and I can say that I know a thing or two about it's history even though I never set my foot there, but this book gave me a lot of new information. I expected it to be more aggressive but it's not. It's really a good book depicting inequality in the USA.
I highly recommend it.

New on my blog :D

I don't consider myself to be a huge fan of graphic novels. However, recently I decided to give them a chance and picked up some and now - I'm in love. I wrote about some of my favourites and the tagged book which is so fun. You can check out Calin's work on Instagram. She creates those funny relatable 4-panels comics. I love them.

This just in: I have a book to read for the weekend!

This beauty just arrived and I did not expect this beautiful cover. When I ordered it the cover was the ugly one (it's not actually ugly, but the font over the cover just makes me mad so I had a hard time deciding if I want to order it - I do judge a book by its cover :/)

P.S. is it just me or did the Bookdepository packaging got a lot better in the last year?

Looking forward for this month's #24b4monday hosted by @SumisBooks @Andrew65 and @jb72 .

I'm hoping to tackle a lot of books this weekend since my summer finals are in June.
I can't believe it's almost summer - doesn't feel like it here. It rains all the time and I feel as if I live in Forks #Twilight - still reading that one.

Anyway, I'm really excited about this readathon. I need to check which books I have available. Any good suggestions?

Rereading Twilight... It's been ten years since I first read it and I just got so nostalgic. I hope I don't hate it (a lot) now that I'm not in my early teens.

I never noticed before but the original covers do not have the shadows over the apple right? I don't know how I never paid any attention. I love it. It goes so well with the story...

It's the next day. #24B4Mondey and #Deweys24HourReadathon are over.
Here is my progress: For the 24hour Readathon I finished the Hunger Games (I still love it), read a bit of the Idiot and started athe audiobook of If We Were Villains.
But as Sunday came to its end I finished If We Were Villains(not bad, but I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan so I'm not the target audience for it)
I read for about 16 hours on the weekend, 12 for Deweys Readathon.

Also, I need a good recommendation for a funny book since that is the only prompt that I don't have a book for. Please recommend something short and funny; it can be a short stories collection, regular novel, graphic novel... Anything.

This was such a good psychological thriller!
It's not on the same level of greatness but it reminds me so much of The Roanoke Girls and I love them both for their darkness.
There is a dual timeline and 3 POVs. It shifts between past and present but it is written nicely and it is not hard to follow. I picked both ebook and audio on Scribd and I can recommend both formats.
It's not for everyone. Content warning: domestic abuse, pedophilia, drugs...

At this point I'm only reading this series to torture myself.

I cannot explain my love/hate with these books. I love the world the magic and I hate the characters. I think this would have been so much better if some other author wrote it. I'm so sick of the need to put every character in a romantic relationship and of the fact that everyone worships Aelin the firebrithing-whiny queen....
This could have been so good.

Secondly. I am in love with the fairy realms and Holly Black is the queen of fairies. (She's not that good with vampires - just saying)

The beging was a bit slow and I found it hard to invest myself into reading this, but after a couple of chapters once the action started I could not put this down.

After reading so much manga and Agatha Christie lately I'm so happy to have read this.

Hi guys!
So I know I don't have that many followers here and I'm not that popular, but I would really like to try this.
March is the #internationalwomensmonth
Since it's ending, I'd like for you to recommend books with strong female characters and have a good message to send to all the women/girls around the world so we could read them all year long not just in March.
I'd like for you to comment here or create your post and tag me. ❤📖

BooksAndTea97 I'm not trying to exclude men out of this. But where I live, a lot of women tend to think they're not that good/worthy and that men are truly superior. I just want to expand my (and your) bookshelf with good books that show how strong and amazing women can be and with books that can help women struggling with their own insecurities. My recommendation is tagged. I already wrote about it previously. Now I'd really like to see yours. ❤ 6y
Naj This is such a great idea. I'd recommend the tagged book. Great women characters and checks all the boxes you mentioned in your post. 6y
