This was the last book I listened to in September! I loved the production of it. It had such dark/creepy vibes. I can see this to be a #BookToScreen.

Pickpick

I found this one on Libby, when I was looking for a #BookToScreen pick. I liked her other book/screen adaptations so I figured I would give it a shot. I really enjoyed this one as my #AudioCommute book. Now to watch the series - maybe in a few weeks, it might be too soon to jump into it. #LibbyLoan

CogsOfEncouragement Yeah, wait a little. I think you will enjoy the series more if you do. Well done, but of course not exactly like the book. 2mo

My #BookSpin pick for September. Found it is Audio off of Libby. Already can tell this is going to be good. I love the whole “reading of a journal” format when listening to audios :)

My #BookSpinBingo card for September. Mostly a #LooseyGoosey picks but threw in some books I wanted to read as well.

#BookSpin : #BookToScreen - gotta do some research on which one I want to read

#DoubleSpin: #ReadMySelves - plan on asking my husband to pick one at random

When I read the plot of this one, I could have sworn I read this book. But then again, it is a standard story.

Read this one a while back and remembered I enjoyed it. I have been hearing good things about the Netflix adaptation, so... here goes. I finished my final this morning for school, and now just have to wait till grades come in.

This was “okay“. Only because the main character got super annoying super fast. Maybe it would have been better if I physically read this rather than listened to it. It did have a great “listen to“ vibe, but it emphasized how annoying he was.

I do plan on watching the screen version though (soonish). #BookToScreen

Been told repeatedly to watch this show. I am usually a “book first” kinda gal. What do y‘all suggest? Is it one you should read first? And how many books = season 1? #BookToScreen

thegirlwiththelibrarybag Does the series as books hold great appeal to you? I haven‘t watched or read it - but I think there are enough changes that the show can stand by itself. I think each book is a season as the Bridgertons are siblings - each season follows a different siblings path to marriage. 6mo
Chrissyreadit I think you are fine to watch whether you read the books or not. They are eye candy. and the costumes and banter are delicious. 6mo
KateReadsYA I just started watching it yesterday, thanks to my husband getting to pick our next Netflix watch. I was surprised he chose this and I haven't read the books yet but the show is a lot of fun. 6mo

Soubhiville I haven‘t read the books but have enjoyed the show. The costumes, choreography, music, and sets are beautiful. I find the stories a bit predictable, but the characters are endearing. 6mo
ElizaMarie @thegirlwiththelibrarybag - I really am enjoying this show so far. I feel like I am not usually in love with historical romance type of books (although I love love love Pride & Prejudice). I decided to forgo the novels and focus on the beauty and the show instead :) 6mo
ElizaMarie @Chrissyreadit Oh yes! I love love love everything about it so far. I am at about 3 episodes in. And it's so hard to tear myself away from it. 6mo
ElizaMarie @KateReadsYA Oooo I am on episode 3!!! I had heard that it was such a great show, and several people have recommended that I read it. My husband did the whole - not wanting to watch it - but had a hard time getting dressed and ready for work this morning as he was glued to the TV !!! Ha! I love it when that happens! Your hubby has some good taste! 6mo
ElizaMarie @Soubhiville I am enjoying it as well. I feel like the books might not be for me“ but the show is definitely for me! 6mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @ElizaMarie, my reading and watching taste are different too - nothing wrong with that! Glad you‘ve decided to just enjoy the show ☺️ 6mo

#BookToScreen - I‘m already seeing the huge difference in the book vs this screen. He seems so much more loving and into her - a lot less red flags ❗. Like it makes me not feel like she was as nieve and young as she is in the book. of course I'm posting this as she just gets to Manderly.

rubyslippersreads Be sure to watch the Hitchcock version too. It‘s a classic. 6mo
ElizaMarie @rubyslippersreads Yes. I need to find it! I heard good things about that one :) 6mo
dabbe @rubyslippersreads That one's my favorite! And it's free on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55NDx-QPWIU 6mo
