Read it for the book club and wasn‘t overly impressed. But I‘m ready to forgive a lot for a story about books or literary characters #bookclub

“It started with a whisper you heard while in line at a coffee shop, a story you probably should‘ve ignored.”
I‘m so hooked, but I wish I would‘ve gotten a hold of this sooner! It‘s definitely got some heavy #fall vibes & they have to figure everything out by #Halloween.
Dying for a holiday read! What might be at my #library?!
(Not in the mood for cheesy, sappy, predictable stuff)

Another cute book that has a baby mummy playing hide n seek with it's mommy mummy. However, the baby gets lost and runs into all sorts of creatures looking for its mommy. Adorable story and wonderful graphics.

Definitely outside my wheelhouse but fun. A little too 🌶️ for my taste. And you know it not really your thing when you finish and you are hung up on a quick reference to an unnamed Christmas movie about a father trying to buy a gift to make up for not being around the rest of the year and wondering if it‘s The Man in the Santa Claus Suit that you remember from way back when and that it had Bert Convy in it and down that rabbit hole you go.

This was an amazing book! Think of Felix and Unger but as monsters. Bella is the messy one and Boris is the neat freak. Can they ever get along as neighbors? Hmmm maybe a Halloween party will bring them together?!?!? The book is so full of monster puns that it is glorious and the artwork of Gris Grimly is just perfect.

I enjoyed that this book had a different take on Christmas and a holiday themed novel. I really enjoyed the world the author has created with each holiday having a royal family. There are some very spicy scenes in this book and although I enjoy spice, it didn't feel needed in this story.

It‘s been far too long since i‘ve gone “shopping” at the library

Gotta shout out the American Girl Dolls here! I loved all of these books growing up! #MiddleGradeMonday @Karisimo @Daisey
