Book 2 was also really good. This may be one of my favorite series ever so far. Mark, Lanie, River, and all of the characters were so likable.

#AwesomeAugust @Andrew65 second book read
I am conflicted with this book because I liked Lanie and River, and I related to Lanie's anxiety and thought it was portrayed well. But the man-worhship in this book made me roll my eyes and hate straight people. We're all supposed to bow down and kiss the cop/ military man's ass for doing his job and being a father. Dude, you don't get a cookie.
What's worse than losing your husband of 5 years? Realizing he was a bigamist! Thankfully, he's already dead, and there's a town called Wildstone where the loud, loving, and laughing Capriotti family run a winery, and the men are stupid hot. Here Lanie (Wife #1) and River (Wife #4 or #5?) end up, both having huge trust issues that can only be melted away by super attractive and fit men that Wildstone grows as it's main import.
What's worse than losing your husband of 5 years? Realizing he had others wives he married after you. Thankfully, there's a town full of hot men where 2 of the wives end up. Almost done with this Shalvis audiobook!
@Theshadedbuffalo oooh thank you so much for the book and birthday card. How in the world did you know my favorite dog is an Old English Sheep Dog? I am so excited to read this book. Thank you again for your kind generosity
My sweet #catsoflitsy as I am leaving for work. ( I may take more pics of pets these days than kids)
My FAVORITE of all Jill Shalvis books. Loved it so much.
Sitting at my oldest daughter‘s theater class and started this. Mistake. Now I don‘t want to put it down.
Jessica!! You are just so sweet. Thank you so much for the #justbecause #bookitforward mail!! I have definitely been on a Jill Shalvis kick and have been wanting to read this one!! Thank you so very much! I will make sure I book it forward soon. ❤️❤️
I just finished my 11th book this month so figured I‘d post my #augustreads
It was a great month and almost all books were very good.
When you need more $$ on Amazon to get free shipping...the only choice is BOOKS!!
Finished this one late last night. Luckily, it's my late day at work today because I kept meaning to stop to go to sleep but kept reading til I finished it. As with all her books, I found myself laughing, tearing up a little, and falling in love with the main and secondary characters.
On another note, I have a new part time reading buddy. This is 8-week-old Roxie. Almost same size as book! Sweet as can be. Adopted by my dad this weekend.
Eeek, I'm an anxious cucumber!
Before I go to sleep, I'm starting this one. I love this author. She's pretty much the only author of straight romance I read. And this cover is the essense of summer, isn't it? I know this will be a fun, quick read. Her books always make me laugh, too. 🌻
I loved this book and didn't want to put it down. I fell in love with the Lanie and Mark from the very beginning. Lanie husband died six months ago but what she didn't know was that her husband was cheating on her and had other wives. She decides to take a job at a winery and try to start her life over. But she doesn't know is that she is about to meet the love of her life and one of her husbands other wives.
🍭🍭🍭🍭🍭 y‘all this book is super! https://reecaspieces.com/2018/06/20/rainy-day-friends-by-jill-shavis/
This made me bust out laughing. “Women don‘t like to be told what to do. You told her that you two needed to talk. You can‘t go in like that, barrels blazing. They‘ll circle around to your six and stab you dead” 😂
This is a great romance. Real life issues and real life feelings. Humor and family. Finally! I had just about given up on the romance genre (other than a few faves). I got this as a review copy through librarything. I had to talk myself into reading it...but so worth it!
It is a rainy day at the shore! This means a trip to the toy store for crafts and a puzzle, and a trip to the used book store for me. #rainydayshopping #bookhaul #mywholeheart
1. Just one? My neighbor being passive aggressive about how often I cut the grass.
2. Book or movie.
3. I‘ve already read this one but the others I‘m excited about aren‘t on Litsy yet. 🤷🏻♀️
4. Double dark chocolate Milano. It‘s been a rough week.

If I got a chance to take a temporary job that required me living at a winery with the Capriotti family I‘d jump on it in a heartbeat!!!
Living with a great cast of characters among beautiful scenery is a perfect place for a young widow to both heal and start-over.
Look for this fun, heart-warming read June 18

Finally! Front porch reading weather! 💜
Suddenly there‘s an over abundance of military references in the books I‘m reading! 🙆♀️ 😊 #MilitaryMom
