so-soNot my favorite book in the series. It seemed like someone decided to ' kill off' several characters and felt sloppy. The explanation for both Gavin and Jessie both to go and leave Travis was ridiculous. Also, it seemed strange to simply name the elites and intellectuals as the enemy, (felt like a shortcut to use buzzwords instead of pointing out lust for money and power as being the core issues, for instance).

pickI was so mad about what happened to the twins I nearly rage quit reading this book, but I needed something really horrible to happen to the bad guys. There‘s going to be another book in the series.

pickWaiting for the 4th installment in #DeanKoontz's #JaneHawk series is not easy. These 3 books had me totally absorbed -- I devoured them. If you enjoy a fast-paced adventure featuring a strong female protagonist with a touch of sci-fi & tons of suspense, you will not be able to put this series down! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

pickThis book... the ebb and flow, the intense action, the melancholy breaks that calms your heart down a beat before it all begins again.. This book, gets me excited, gets me sad, makes me mad, makes me feel as if I‘ve been transported into it. Koontz is a master of visual pictures, and making your heart feel. This book... reminds me of reading his books back in the day. Thank you to Random House and Netgalley for the Advanced Readers copies
AHHHH!!! These endings! 😫. The Forbidden Door isn‘t out until Oct 😰 But I am loving this series so far!

I have to admit, I haven't read the other two Jane Hawk books. I still enjoyed this installment. I certainly hope that this fictional story never comes to reality - very scary! Even with all the bad things happening in the book, there are little glimmers of hope as in this quote. (Odd Thomas is still my favorite Dean Koontz character.)

So this is the 8 millionth metaphor or simile in this book. I‘m about 1/4 in...maybe. I want to edit this A LOT!!!! I haven‘t read Koontz in several years - is this normal?!?
