This is my favorite design in my shop, and I'm so excited to have it available as an art print, sticker, and bookmark!

It would mean so much if you'd consider supporting my small business, whether by purchasing a gift for a fantasy reader you know or by tagging someone you think might love this! Both are helpful 😊 Thank you!
This book was a recommendation from my local library's speed dating for books. I decided to audio listen on my drive home yesterday, but just struggled to get into this one. Maybe it was just too much on the fantasy side of life, or Who knows...
Happy Easter! 🌼🐇🐣 I hope everyone is having a lovely, relaxing day! It's gorgeous here so I'm taking a quick bookish walk before dinner! 💕📚
Two more dragon sets completed. @wordslinger42 I believe these are the dragon rider books I promised to look into. I'm looking forward to all of these. I have a lot of reading to catch up with lol 😅 #dragons #dragonrider #warriors #friends #magic #mythical
This is the third time I've read this story and, as always, it's a pick! I've never read a book by Cornelia Funke that I didn't love. She's definitely one of my favorite authors! I'm excited to continue the series 😊

Me for the rest of winter ❄💙📚
On to my first read of 2023! Happy New Year, everyone 💙📚
Thanks for hosting this fun giveaway, @BookNAround #lastfirst
My last read of 2022 will be The Whiz Mob and the Grenadine Kid by Colin Meloy and my first read of 2023 will be Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke 📚
As much as I thought this book was fun it just earns a so-so from me but it was so close to being a pick. Firedrake, a dragon teams up with a lonely boy named Ben to go on a journey to find the place where silver dragons live in piece. This book takes you on the journey with them. With adventure at every turn who knows where this book may take you.
“What a terrible human presumption it is to catch other living creatures and hold them captive”
An okay book. I think it was engaging but the overall topic of dragons doesn‘t really interest me. I do like the personification in it.
Knitting a baby afghan and decided to listen to this gem. I still swoon when I hear Brendan Fraser. The writing is good too. Love a world with fantastic creatures.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story is so great! I‘m waaay outside the target audience, but I‘ve loved Funke‘s work since I was 9 (you can see my battered copies of her other books peeking out behind this one!) and I found this story of dragons absolutely charming!
One of my students has me circulating through the summer. He's finished the Pendragon Series, the Artemis Fowl series, and a few stand-alones. His next stash doesn't even fit in the picture!
1. Cornelia Funke
2. With no work and little else to do I am reading twice as much as previously.
3. A Long Fatal Love Chase by Louisa May Alcott
Thanks for the tag @Eggs. ☺ #WonderousWednesday
I am a huge fan of Cornelia Funke. I have always enjoyed reading, but I venture to say that the Inkheart serious made me love reading. The Theif Lord was also an amazing read. I have had this one my shelf for a long time, and when I saw that Brendan Fraiser read the audiobook, I had to listen. It was AMAZING. I 1000% recommend. Fraiser really knocks it out the park, it almost feels like a cast of people reading it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Being artsy while listening to Dragon Rider. Cornelia Funke is one of my favorite authors. I devoured the Inkheart trilogy multiple times when I was younger. This book is being read by Brendan Fraiser and it is absolutely amazing. He's fantastic at bringing the book to life. #AudioArt
Genre: Fantasy
Date Started: September 12
Date Completed: September 19
I don't like reading fantasy books, but I decided to get myself familiar with this genre again.
The story is about a dragon named Firedrake. Him, along with the friends he makes throughout his journey, try to revive an ancient race of dragons before the Nettlebrand (the antagonist) eats him, along with the other dragons. He collects moonlight as Nettlebrand's spies chase them.
Almost 12pm here! Kicking off our #magicalallnighter with some butterbeers. We're starting out reading Dragon Rider. What is everyone else reading right now?

Loving this audio adaption! Brenden Fraser is a wonderful narrator and a talented voice performer. I'm really enjoying it!
Rating: 3.5 Stars
This is a middle grade fantasy. Honestly the world and characters are really interesting but the plot didn‘t really blow me away. I will probably continue to book 2 if I can find the audiobook on Scribd. But won‘t go out of my way to purchase it.
📚 Black labs in the real world. In the fictional realm, dragons all the way 🐲🐉

Reading Dragon Rider with my dragon sleeper snoring away & dreaming of dragons. 🐲
Absolutely one of my favorite books. I've read it about two times but haven't picked it up in years. Definitely thinking about picking it up again.

#endpapers can add such beauty to books! Wish I had more beautiful endpapers.
This #latestbookishbuy was from a trip to Goodwill. It is a lovely, hardcover edition. The image is a detail from the cover. #photoadaynov16 #day25 @RealLifeReading
A favorite #herebedragons book! When @DuckOfDoom posted about the sequel recently coming out in Germany I pulled this down for a #reread. Cornelia Funke is a master 🐉💕
#heretherebedragons #photoadaynov16
#photoadaynov16 I don't read books with dragons, but my daughter does. She is 8 yrs old and recently finished this 500+ page book. She's in third grade and is reading at a 7th grade level. I'm so proud of my super reader! Cornelia Funke is now her favorite author. #herebedragons #raisingreaders @RealLifeReading
I don't #reread much, but I just finished rereading Dragonrider, a children's book about a journey to find a new home for the last of the dragons. It was released 19 years ago and this month a sequel was released.
When I was 5 years old, my father read this to me and I still think audiobooks read by parents are the best ones 😊
I throughly loved this book! Dragons, brownies, and the sweetest orphan boy you will ever meet go on an action packed adventure to save the dragons. They run into trouble and other fairy tale creatures on their mission to find a safe place to live away from humans and the terrible golden one. The ending melted my mommy heart. I loved it.
❤️ do you see those odd looking candies? Chocolate, sea salt and GHOST CHILI PEPPER covered almonds. They. Are. Heaven.

Another for the August #tbr pile. My daughter's pick for our mom-daughter summer book club. She fell deep in love with this book last year. Can't wait to read it and talk about it with her! #augustofpages #bookphotochallenge
Dragon Rider is one of the novels which got me into fantasy. It stayed with me since I was 6/7, when my mom read it to me and I read it again and again.
It follows the journey of the dragon Firedrake, the Brownie Sorrel and the boy Ben as they search for the Rim of Heaven, a safe haven for dragons..
