Finished my last 2023 read early this afternoon (The Rose Code by Kate Quinn) and this was my final count for the year.
I don‘t know if I will set a book goal for 2024.
Finished my last 2023 read early this afternoon (The Rose Code by Kate Quinn) and this was my final count for the year.

2022 is a wrap. Here are the books I read: 12 months, 12 shelves.
My #Scarathlon2021 & October🎃 wrap up. My stats this month was:
📚Read 21 books
✨Read 11 Magical Realism books
🔪Read 5 crime/mystery books
👻Read 4 horror books
🎨Read 1 graphic novel
🎧Listened to 7 audiobooks
📱Read 3 ebooks
I‘m very happy with how this month turned out, especially considering I read nothing for the first week! Outdid my expectations & more🙌 #TeamSlaughter🔪
My final #PointsTally for #Scarathlon2021 At the end of #Week4 my points were 12,889pts which gives me a #GrandTotal for the month of:
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉44,177pts!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Not bad considering the poor start to it courtesy of my grandbaby Jaxon. Still, it was worth it to spend time with that gorgeous little chunker! How‘d your Scarathlon go?
EDIT: Once again I forgot some extra points. My updated final tally is now above 👆
My #Week3 points tally for #TeamSlaughter in #Scarathlon2021 is 13,531pts. Which brings my Total so far to 30,468pts! Not bad considering the slow start to the month(though I did have the best excuse. Jaxon is now 4 weeks old & thriving!) I‘ve read 16 bks & almost a 17th, watched 8 different movies/tv shows, read the team #buddyread & had a great time. Let‘s crush the last week team!🙌🎃🔪
My #Week2PointsTotal for #TeamSlaughter in this years #Scarathlon2021 is 13,726pts. Much better than last weeks total, my youngest is growing into being a mum and doesn‘t need me as much as she did, which is sad but also means more reading time!🙌 I have one more book to post but I finished it after midnight last night so I‘m adding it to next weeks tally instead.
So my #WeekOne points wrap up is 3,160pts for #TeamSlaughter in October‘s #Scarathlon2021 Would‘ve been a lot more if I hadn‘t been distracted by a 3.5kilos bundle of squishyness called Jaxon. How could I possibly read with that gorgeous little face making grunts & squeals at me? There‘s nothing like that newborn smell is there, I could sniff the top of his head forever but he probably wouldn‘t appreciate it much when he‘s 15!
It‘s a Wrap…and more importantly where did September go?

This is my #aprilwrapup. 13 books! I can‘t choose a favorite as most of these were good reads!
I only managed to finish 9 books this month, and I have 2 others in progress, but considering I had only finished two books in the first two weeks of the month, I‘m not too sad. Plus, I loved all but one of the books I finished (the Steinhauer was disappointing) and I only bailed one other book.

⭐️ FEBRUARY WRAP-UP ⭐️ - For some reason, I felt as if February wasn't a great reading month for me, but looking back, I read some books that I absolutely loved. I think part of my disappointment was in not doing as well on my personal goals as I hoped: I read only 1 BOTM book, though I did make progress on my goal toward reading the books in the Tournament of Books shortlist. See any favorites? How are you doing on your goals this year? ⬇️
⭐️AUGUST WRAP-UP⭐️⠀
⠀
My reading in August was quite varied (um, random?), but I read some AMAZING books. And some that were just okay.⠀
⠀
Here are some stats: 27 books total ⭐️ 4 audiobooks ⭐️ 2 nonfiction ⭐️ 8 YA/Middle Grade⠀
⠀
Do you see any that you loved? What were your favorites in August?

One last #2017wrapup before plunging forward into 2018. Here are some of my favorites of 2017. I was fortunate to not have read many pans this year. 🙌 #decktheshelves #favoriteoftheyear
My #julywrapup #julystats
I read 3 books and one short story. I'm currently reading one book and listening to two others that will spill over into August (I'm looking at you #GOT)
Best of July? Hmmm, I'd have to go with In the Shadow of Blackbirds.
