Such hard choices. Just got in two audiobook holds on my library app and can not decide which to listen to first. Which one would y‘all suggest?
Lock Every Door: A Novel
I‘m finishing up We Need to Talk About Kevin today and will be starting Sherman Alexie‘s You Don‘t Have to Say You Love Me tomorrow... and I‘m thinking I will need something lighter in the audiobook department this week! These are the four I‘m deciding between... any recommendations (or anti-recommendations!)? Which would you pick?
Trying to decide which non fiction will be Bk3 for the #24in48 #readathon I‘m leaning towards Ruby Ridge,only because I was watching documentaries on pay tv & watched first a Waco which led to Oklahoma which brought me to a Ruby Ridge, and this author was one of the “experts” on there. He was very articulate, was a journalist that covered the siege & had the most amazing voice, I coulda listened to him for hours! Def think Ruby Ridge is next.

This was a really difficult choice for me! I‘m going to throw my hat in the ring for number 6, the thriller. I‘d love to win book number 6 because I‘ve been reading a lot of non-fiction lately, and I‘d love to switch things up. I‘d love to get into a new genre because I haven‘t read many thrillers before.

I think I‘ll choose C, though a few are dead, so not sure how that would work.
A-I have a good library with all of the free books I can find time for. B-a week is too short. D-if I have a job, I‘m allowed a paid holiday once in a while.

Ok - here is my stack that I am going to try and pack for my time in Alaska. I also have my Kindle and I‘ve made four stacks of books for my husband to send as I need them. Now...to see if these will all fit into one of the suitcases 🤔
How do you pick books to pack when you are going to be gone for 6 months???🤔🤷♀️🤦♀️I am trying to pick out 15 to take now and then box more up so my husband can send when I need them. I keep finding books that I haven‘t thought about in awhile but somehow I have to read them RIGHT NOW 🤨

Ok friendos, I've made some preliminary selections for the first half of our #poetrychallenge. I'm going to try to do 2 poets a month because I can't chooooooose!! I'm sure things will shuffle around, but I'm pretty excited about these to start. #poetrychallenge2018
1. Short stories! Verses make me cry.
2. I like mingling & also my me-time.
3. I think I read more thrillers coz they are 'louder'.
4-5. Both.
6. Neither :( World cup was fun when they let an octopus predict it (rip Paul).
7. Paperback! The better to hold & shelve.
8. Never seen snow. :/ Idk about sand. It's dry and coarse. It gets everywhere.
9. I prefer reading ladies so, romance.
