Women In Translation Readathon books!! My first and I‘m really excited 🌳
Hashtag heat wave 🤯🔥 hashtag dying hashtag i hate summer
This was enough for me ☠️
Some of my books for August! Did you read any of them??
I created an Instagram account, so please feel free to follow me @goodbyefridablog !
Thank you, Joanne 🖤 HB!
This beginning... wow. Really disturbing! I‘m predicting this will be a five stars for me!
I‘m a Ravenclaw, but I had to buy this beautiful yellow cover 😍 should I buy the rest of them? Probably not
I really loved this book 🌟 so real, so honest, funny and very relatable. The first part was a little bit slow to me, probably because I‘m not used to read these kind of books (changing that), but the second part was so predictable and, at the same time, really unpredictable that I read it in a few hour. Wouldn‘t even think this is a debut (!!!) Thanks Gail for this book 🌔
I‘ve been so busy for the past two weeks, and not reading as much as I should... I hope to finish Eleanor until the weekend 🌻
Congrats to Michael Ondaatje, chosen by Kamila Shamsie 👏 one more book to add to my tbr 😬 #manbooker50
Is it that bad that I totally related myself with Eleanor? 🕺
🙇♀️ happy 4th to all 🇺🇸
My first Ruth Rendell. Do you like her books?
It‘s not a pan because I cared about the story of one character, and it was almost a bail at the first 30 pages for me... I know lots of you loved this book, but I find so many problems with the plot, too predictable at times, confusing ideias, too many subjects not explored very well. I don‘t think I‘ll read another Celest Ng book 🤷♀️🔥
🔥 (unpopular opinion on the way)
It‘s rare to see a book with a hardcover edition in Portugal. There is only one edition for each title, not three like in UK or USA. I actually used to prefer paperbacks. Now I can‘t get enough of hardcovers, and this one is pretty 🔥
Mini mini 🏚
Already finished! This book is so intriguing, so well thought and written. Maybe the end is not the most satisfactory, but I think it‘s perfect for this kind of history and it‘s the first time I read something like this... #womensprize totally worth it!
I started to read this book last night, and just can‘t stop thinking about it! 🌸
Congratulations to Kamila Shamsie, the winner of #womensprize ! I have to read this ASAP!! 🌸🔥💜 (can‘t stop looking at this cover)
Not reading much, obviously. Just watching a bunch of cool booktubers (?) 🤷♀️
Beautiful cover, a book for children 💃 Frida 💚
Starting IT today, with excitement but also scared... not because of the story, because of all the hype surrounding this book. And being a portuguese reading in English (there is no translation in Portugal), I feel like I sometimes miss some of the meaningful parts of the story. And this will take an eternity to read, but I‘m expecting to love IT!! 🎈
Unbelievably good, and scary, and humanitarian. I‘m really interested in true crime but, somehow, I don‘t read a lot of true crime (for no particular reason). After this, I have to expand my bookshelf! 🌗
I skipped the Golden State Killer identity news because I wanted to read this first. I couldn‘t be more expectant 🌑
Amazingly creepy! I totally identify myself with Michelle 🤷♀️
Creepy, but powerful. Tom Riddle‘s graveyard⚱️#harrypotterstudiotour
Missing sweet fashion London today. From #fashionedfromnature #vamuseum 🌸
Sending love and hugs to you from Tarly and Tommi🐱🖤
First ten pages and it‘s given me chills already 🌑 (King‘s IT will have to wait, again)
So good... so complex, but simple at the same time. I didn‘t read this kind of books for a long time because they are too ‘childish‘ or not credible enough in my mind. Exception made for Harry Potter 😍 but this is such a good story, with excellent and believable characters. I have to see the movie now 🎥
