‘A wise bear always keeps a marmalade sandwich under his hat in case of emergency‘
Before you ask, yes, I saved one of these Bears 🐻 and he is now safely and comfortably living in my bed 🥰.

2 years ago today, I visited Paddington Station, found the Paddington Bear statue and bench seat and bought my very own gorgeous bear. It was a brilliant, quintessentially rainy London day, that I spent with my bestie, weaving in and out of cafes to avoid the rain - ending with dinner at my very favourite restaurant in that part of the world. It was pretty much perfect.
I bravely left behind what looked like a complete set!!!
(I‘m collecting another edition - will keep my eye on the prize!)
A sweet story about a bear from Peru. I can‘t believe I‘ve gone this long in life without having read Paddington.

I don't often take selfies, but here is one from my recent trip to London 🇬🇧
When I travel I often like to just walk around and explore. On my second day I found a small path between houses that led to the place were I took this photo.

All the books I bought in London 😁📚❤
I'm going to London for a week. Any tips where a booklover should go?
1. I loved Roald Dahl, but since so many of his were tagged, thought I‘d give a little love to another favorite.
2. Yes, please
3. Running, cooking/baking, and a little knitting
4. Somewhere near the mountains 🏔
5. 💞👋🏻💞

Happy Birthday Paddington! 🎂
As a kid I loved the animated TV series too, with paper cut outs and painted backdrops #oldskool !

Love Paddington and this was the first fiction book I got as a child and got me into reading fiction. Need to reread. Love that own this. Six hour challenge for #24in48. What‘s the oldest children‘s book you have, or a book you‘ve held onto since your childhood?
Found blood plums at the market today = instant happiness
I was in the cinema today, my mum and I were watching #Paddington 2 and we enjoyed it so much! It‘s surprisingly as good as the first one👌. I especially loved the #cinematography- it really shows how beautiful #London is. There were lots of funny scenes but also emotional scenes. Treat yourself and watch this #movie 🐾🐾🐾 #tgif #friyay
What a lovely honour for Michael Bond, the creator of Paddington Bear. What a great legacy to leave behind.
Paddington will always have a special place in my heart, the first books I owned!

Paddinngon Bear pop up book trail around London? Umm yes please!!!! Chilly though...
Spent a day working at Paddington this week & missed my own little bear, so bought this for some bedtime reading together. He loved it 💙
I watched Paddington last night with my nieces. It was so cute!! The Paddington books were some of my favourites as a kid!
Just a picture of this cutie (aka my impulse buy at Paddington Station) earning his spot on the shelf and some marmalade sandwiches...
Paddington Bear was one of the first series I remember my father reading to me, with its complex sentence structures and big words. (What other children's story uses the word "emigrated" in the first chapter?) Michael Bond helped to shape my early literacy in a way that no other author could have. Don't worry we'll keep an eye on him for you, RIP Michael Bond. #paddington
This is a sweet picture book. Really good for bedtime. The illustrations are well done and colorful.
