Okay, cozy friends, what is everyone reading for our December #Holiday prompt? I‘ll be reading Dashing Through the Snowbirds.

This will be our last month for #ThematicCozies . For 2026, our mission will be to #ClearTheCozies , since many of us seem to have large stockpiles of cozies on hand that we‘d actually like to read!

Snowed in for Christmas: A Novel | Sarah Morgan

I loved this. I loved the house and the loch and the village. I loved the Miller family. I loved Lucy and Glenda and Clemmie and Alice (perhaps not equally but I did love them all). I even loved the characters with no POV: esp Ross and Nico.
I was in exactly the right mood for this story and I might even read another Sarah Morgan book in the next day or two.

Christmas with the Queen | Hazel Gaynor, Heather Webb

Yet another Wednesday, yet another cocktail + book! I really enjoy having an evening just to decompress with good food, good drink, and a good read. This week, the cocktail is from their holiday menu and called the Ron Burgundy (scotch, apricot brandy, cinnamon, lemon, and a float of Pinot Noir). Perfect for a cold December evening!

Three siblings take a crash course through how not to handle holiday romances, and the punches keep coming. I read this over the summer and enjoyed it. Each character's story is interesting and well-paced, with a satisfying conclusion. I almost felt overwhelmed by so many things happening at once but it felt balanced enough to keep me going.
