In general, talking animals creep me out, but who doesn't love this classic? I read a chapter a night to my daughter when she was little, she adored this book.

Some highlights:
Squirrel and chipmunk have run out of things to chat about (acorns, parasites and the inevitable approach of autumn have already been covered)...and so chipmunk pretends to like Jazz.
Later, cow tries to win at Secret Santa by picking Turkey...who will be lunch by the time presents are exchanged.
And mouse loves her pet baby cornsnake...

#feistyfeb #anthropomorphiccharacters Another random secondhand find. The characters are from the BBC TV series Magic Roundabout. Dougal himself is an anthropomorphic dog, but there's also a snail, goat, pig, and more. A very funny, silly book!
