1. My parents bought a new house with a massive basement and nothing to put in it so the BF and I did some scouting and delivered them an old WWII built slate pool table with all the original accessories. I love historic things and they love pool (plus I got it for a steal!) so it's a win all the way around 😊

So, another #sharedholidaytradition is my sister buying me flamingo ornaments. I have some truly hideous ornaments but couldn‘t find the worst ones. The bottom 2 are recent. My sis started this after I bought my house & a friend gave me some cute flamingo stuff for outside. The top 3 are from today, the middle one is ok but the others are horrible. She also got me flamingo potholder& placemats that I like. #wintergames #thefilthyanimals

Sharing the word, and I'll check in here as well for support. 😔 My mom is having a lot of anxiety attacks (about our soon upcoming move in February, still seeking a house for rent) now leading to a second hospital trip currently for help. I'm a bit bluesy myself about having to remain with a harsh kitchen job, but from now we'll have the holiday week between us to rest and relax at home.

Oh man, where to start?! 😜

1: Cookiepalooza - I've been baking since Friday afternoon and have another day and a half to go, most of it is decorating and hanging out with my kids, though.

2: Insisting that the calendar shaped wrapped gifts under the tree are not calendars, even though they are, and enjoying my kids' exasperation with their weirdo mom. 😁🤭

Sent out some holiday packages today AND #xmasxstitch swap box!! The two packages going to a couple of sweet littens were just waiting for me to finish up a project for the swap box. The post office is not on any of my routes to work, so I try to do it all together. I know it‘s on the early side but I get so nervous with holiday shipping. Christmas cards will be going out soon!! #xmasxstitchexchange

Christmas decorations are starting to go up in the library! I worked hard to try to get as much as possible up after Thanksgiving but still this weekend! My exacto knife sure got a workout! Season‘s readings, everyone!

Such a lovely idea! I‘m Jewish and don‘t celebrate Christmas, but I‘m excited to participate in this seasonal swap!!
