I usually watch 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' every year on TV, but this year it's only showing on AppleTV. I love the Peanuts Gang and decided since I wouldn't be able to watch it this year, I would read it.

This book focuses on Linus. He decided to spend Halloween in the pumpkin patch. Why? Because he is waiting on the Great Pumpkin, who is supposed to bring gifts to kids in pumpkin patches.

I just finished watching this special on Apple TV. I enjoyed this. This is my favorite. I watch it every year. If you‘re looking for a Halloween special that won‘t take very long to watch, I recommend this one. It‘s on Apple TV and it‘s only 25 or 30 minutes. I have Apple TV so I can continue watching the Peanuts specials every year. You can‘t go wrong with Peanuts. I‘m 33 and I‘ve been a Peanuts fan since I was 19.

I have read The Great Pumpkin to my son every year on Halloween night after trick or treating since he was born! He‘s an October baby so it started when he was only a couple weeks old (the only year we did it without trick or treating first). Can‘t believe this is our 12th year doing it. We always watch the movie after too. #sundayfunday

Enjoyed a holiday classic with the family this evening and realized that my children had never seen a Peanuts special before. They enjoyed this one. I'll have to get the Christmas special...and ask their piano teacher to teach them the Peanuts theme song.
