This was an engrossing Noir-Mystery/Thriller story about a girl whom seemingly commits suicide, but her being the daughter of an elusive horror director makes our main character-a writer, dive into her life and world. This makes you question all the details throughout and I will definitely have to reread this at some point to see what details I can catch. I thought this was excellent and I definitely recommend the audiobook. 5⭐️

A high schooler discovers her deceased mother's bucket list from when she was in high school, and decides to spend the summer completing it. This was such a cute read, and a perfect pick for #AutumnPlease prompt #FallFlowers (who doesn't love sunflowers?!) #scarathalon #batbrigade

Young Ryn is a gravedigger in a small town where risen corpses roam the forrest due to a decades-old curse. When a new mapmaker arrives in the town, the corpses start attacking the town, and Ryn and the new mapmaker have to uncover the secrets of the curse.

A series of essays regarding the evolution on the cover designs on Nabokov‘s Lolita, including an entire section of concept covers from various graphic designers. The essays were ok, I have to admit they got a little bit repetitive, but it was worth it to see the concept art. The ones pictured are my faves.
