11 Chapters in. 🤔 Is this woman psycho?

I ran out of audible credits already 🤷♀️ so I had to go with a freebie. This is what I came up with. I‘ve never read Harlan Coben but I know others who have. My thoughts so far: 6 chapters in, the main character chick apparently fakes a pregnancy and a miscarriage. Husband falls for the whole thing soup to nuts and now, two years later, a stranger tips him off. He confronts her and now the crazy wife is missing.
I have a group of students who love this series! Now I‘m helping them walk through the origami instructions that are included in the books. 😀 Such a good series for reluctant readers.
Another good picture book for #readingafrica2022 #southsudan
Super cute quick read aloud. Of course I had to. Rhythmic and rhyming. Third graders love it.
I can‘t say I loved this book (mostly bc I did love Cerulean Sea), but I was intrigued by it. Liked the characters, though their development could have occurred in a shorter book. It was more like a stroll through the personal reflection of Wallace, who has died. Even though it‘s fantasy, the ending didn‘t match with the entire story. While it‘s handled respectfully, there are issues of suicide, death, depression, murder, illness & grief.
Audio crocheting with TJ Klune. Perfect for this snowy day in the Northeast. #crochet
I don‘t typically read memoirs but #readingafrica2022 introduced me to this one. This was one fantastic memoir! Like, I would read/listen again. The fact that Trevor Noah himself read the audio made it even better. It‘s funny, sad, and frankly, unbelievable. Highly recommend.
Our read aloud yesterday in class. Good beginning story for children to understand the scarcity of readily available clean water for so many people. #readingafrica2022 #burkinafaso
My fingers are crossed that I got this right. Here is the tracking number. Delivery on Wednesday.
I‘ve heard about this one. It‘s set in South Africa. I decided to read it for #readingafrica2022
I am terribly backed up with books. My groups are desperately behind bc I‘ve gone MIA. I can only apologize. I‘m sending them out tomorrow morning when the ice clears.
#alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Misty, thank you so much for this sweet gift. I wanted to keep guessing the book based on your clues. Can‘t wait to read it! ♥️💜♥️
#readingafrica2022 set in #mali currently reading.
Read this for #readingafrica2022 Set in #Malawi. It was a good and interesting story, but I found myself skipping some of the technical stuff about electricity.
Hoping it ends up being a good pick for the rest of you. I wasn‘t totally into it and was disappointed bc I‘ve heard a lot about Lisa Jewell. Eager to see what you guys think. #lmpbc
Done! I‘d recommend this to anyone who enjoys modern retells. Made me want to go back and reread Lewis Caroll‘s version. Moving on to book 2.
So far behind in this one. #gratefulharvest day 5 prompt: Moon. Some of my favorite moon covered books.
So I started this audio last night. It‘s included with an audible membership, so I figured why not. It‘s a modern version of Alice in Wonderland. The MC great great great grandmother was the Alice who “inspired” Lewis Carroll. Now generations later the family tree is suffering. It‘s is the first book of a trilogy. #impulseread
Thanks so much for tag @MoonWitch94
🎃 I feel like the months are flying by. I didn‘t get very much time to read so that‘s kind of sad, but there‘s November.
🦃 I love November! It‘s when I start crocheting short project for gifts, and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
⭐️ I‘m grateful for a few days rest this week.
Today‘s reading for #nonfictionnovember Love the Pompeii issue of Kids Discover. They‘re always packed with such great information and amazing visuals. Pompeii was the #bookspin book.
Ready for my November #bookspin. Didn‘t get a chance to participate last month, so I‘m excited to be back at it. Looking forward to #nonfictionnovember and starting the next round of #lmpbc
@Bookwormjillk picked up yesterday‘s mail this morning and found this. I couldn‘t wait to read everyone‘s comments so I stood by the car and read through them. #lmpbc
Loved this one also. So enjoyed getting background about Magnus, who, next to Dobby, is my favorite character.
Recently finished this first of the Dark Artifices series. Emma Carstairs is in search of those who are responsible for her parents‘ deaths in the Dark War. Lots of love, betrayal, and shadowhuntery sorts of things. A must read if you‘re a fan.

@Twainy practicing with my new sticker pen, which is actually called decorating tape. It‘s so much fun and perfect for #litsylove letters.
So, I misunderstood the open date and thought it was today, but my goodness… such amazing gifts. Really can‘t wait to test out the sticker pen. I‘ve never heard of those before. The book picks are just perfect! Thank you so much @Twainy especially for diligently trying to figure out tea!💜 #hhs
This week‘s listen. I‘m a big fan of Casandra Clare, but a bigger fan of Magnus Bain. As with all her others, I‘m pretty sure I‘ll love this one.
Look what just arrived. I love Kate Dicamillo and this is her newest. Already started reading. I also live hearing about what made her write a particular book. Can‘t wait to@find out about this one.
One of my sweet students donated this from the book fair this week. The kids love these books.
Today I read aloud the tagged book. It was such a hit that were going to invent our own monsters and build it on a bulletin board.
Technically, if I have to choose I prefer witches. I really prefer witches and vampires, which is why the tagged book is a witch favorite of mine. Funny story: when my Language Arts Supervisor started in my district, we had a discussion about books and he recommended the tagged book. Didn‘t think I‘d like it, but figured I had to give it a go bc, you know, supervisor. I figured he‘d ask what I thought. I did and he did. 😀 🧙
My class loves holloween stories that scare. Emptied out my “scary stories” bin.
How can one resist this cute parody of Goodnight Moon. Perfect for this time of year and my class really liked it.
Watched Before I Wake tonight. I was looking for a creepy not slasher movie to semi watch while crocheting. This one fit the bill.
The results are in my friends. Here are our group picks for #groupg #LMPBC It looks fantastic! Can‘t wait to get started. 💜
