I really enjoyed Never, Never - a story about two teens who forget who they are and fate keeps bringing them close to each other.
It kept me on the edge of the seat throughout the whole time, and would love to see it being made into a movie🍿🎥

Slow start, but loved the ending and story. Highly recommended!
I came for the Agatha Christie inspired cozy mystery on the train, and I stayed because of how different it turned out to be. I enjoyed all the suspects and open investigation, but most of all the anagrams, Kate Bush songs hiding in plain sight, the tablet recipe and the Christmas quiz. Definitely recommend!
Of course I did not believe the house was cursed - but when people feared a place, there was usually a reason.
#CurrentlyReading - Jess wrote the perfect murder in a short story. And someone used her story as an inspiration for a murder.
92 pages in, and I like the suspense and the English Boarding school setting. Can't wait to read more and try to unravel the murder.

I don't know why it took me so long to read Eragon, but what a lovely adventure it was! Loved the magic sooo much!
#CurrentlyReading - 100ish pages in, and I am really enjoying it. I love the letters section and the two time periods of "now" and "then". Also, I'm a sucker for a summer romance whilst people work during the season, it's a special vibe I always get that reminds me of the summers I've worked at places. ?
If you are looking for a suspenseful medical #thriller, you will definitely enjoy this one! Do No Harm is the bookish version of the most intense Grey's Anatomy episode.
Anna is a surgeon, and a very good one at that. She's preparing for a secret VIP surgery, and when she comes home, her world takes a turn for the worse.
Her 4-year-old son has been taken and in order to see him again, she has to kill the patient.
What would you do?😱

208 pages in and I am really enjoying Twin Crowns. Two twin sisters separated at birth, one lives in the castle as a Princess, and the other plots to take over the crown. Magic involved too, and some romance along the way. Yes, please!
Very late to read this one, but I really enjoyed it. Amazing story building and I also enjoyed the emotion in the characters. I liked how the romance wasn't the main focus of the book. Looking forward to the next books in the series.
This is my April Wrap Up - what did you read in April, and what was your favourite read? 💕
Btw, I enjoyed all of these books!!! No bad book this April 🥰
Currently reading Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline - the second book from the Ready Player One series.
And to be honest, it's not that good and it has put me in a reading slump... Hopefully it gets better.
What are you currently reading?
It's 2am in the UK, there is a storm outside and I can't sleep. So I decided to continue with my reading.
This is my current read at the moment. Not sure how I feel about it. Very graphic and sexual scenes currently, apparently there is a "full moon" that makes everyone "needy". We'll see if there is any context to this in the future chapters.

A beautiful story about families, love, betrayal, the difference between the rich and poor, and a girl that tries to discover what happened to her missing mother, while discovering herself.

We all are, or have once been wallflowers. The shy creatures of the universe, strangled in a problematic world where everything is so confusing and hard.
It is an emotional, but very realistic story, about one kid, and all the things he learns while growing up. By learning things the hard way, by listening, by watching things happen to his friends and family, by just being a wallflower.

A book that speaks about feelings, and lack of them. Love and emotions. Art and passion. Psychology and memories. And how our childhood might define who we will become.
A woman kills her husband, and she refuses to talk for so many years. And now, a psychologist gets a chance to try and make her talk. So intense, so amazing. I loved it so much!

It is a great way to clear your TBR List. The way it works is you select 5-10 books from your TBR list (from oldest to newest) and re-evaluate why they are there and decide to keep or remove.
I am keeping the classics this time, and removing some others. Read my blog post to find out why.

When Maggie wakes up from a coma, the nurse tells her that she has been in an accident, her little daughter is dead, and her husband sold the house and left her.
Maggie doesn‘t remember a thing.
With no home, no family, and no memory, she has to find a way and discover what happened that day.
A thriller that will uncover the greatest of secrets everyone could have. A nail-biter this one, I tell you.

An autobiography of a woman that goes through child molestation, a marriage full of sexual abuse, and a lot of suffering. A hard book to read.
It was a decent story, a powerful, motivational one, but not realistic. Of course these terrible things happened. But I didn‘t felt for the woman. Not in a way I usually would.
I can't handle a character who can't say no, and stays to be beaten by a man. Just no

A beautiful memoir, full of lively descriptions that make the scenes more realistic. A powerful story of love, bravery, tragedy, sacrifices and hope.
For me, too slow. I have tried reading it four times before finally finishing it. The line between here and DNF was very thin, therefore the stars.

So Christmassy, and it also reminds me of Hearthstone (a Blizzard video game).
A story of a girl, dragons, magic, and a big adventure that changes her life!

A world where you are an ugly until your sixteenth birthday. And then, you undergo a surgery and you become pretty. And life is perfect. Except, maybe, it isn‘t.
Would you turn into a "pretty" and risk losing your personality?
Wonderful world building, and amazing plot. It makes you wonder what our society is like. I really enjoyed this one!

I have read many of Coelho‘s books, even since I was a teenage girl. And all of them share something in common – the path of finding yourself. After reading Hippie, I believe that this is the the best one that covers this subject quite perfectly.
This is a story about people that travel the world, wear funny clothes and flowers in their hairs, and believe in peace, love and freedom.

I was buddy-reading this one with @BridgetteM, and wow, just wow! This book is so amazing. The virtual world created was fantastic.
Warcross is a virtual game, and when Emika hacks into the official opening, she is hired to do a secret job and enter the tournament as a Wild Card. It's a great story, and that romance... aaah. Perfect.

A winter tale about two men finding themselves and each other. A short beginning of what I believe will be a long-lasting relationship, in a book filled with warmth, bravery and magic.
Winter Trials is the first instalment, and it is a perfect short introduction to the environment and the character. The story is about Mark, who decides to start practising magic, just like his grandmother.

I grew up with Disney movies, and my favourite was Ariel. And even though loving her for years, I have never read the original story. I decided to read it, to cherish it properly.
The story dropped my jaw, made me unable to sleep. It shook me quite hard.
If you are expecting a happy ending, there is NONE. A very dark story, with a sad and terrible end.
A great author, great descriptions, but a non fairytale end.

I am probably one of the last people reading a Stephen King for the first time. Carrie was a lovely introduction to his world!
A story about Carrie, her crazy religious mother, her bullies and one prom night where everything goes horribly wrong.
This is a story that silently stands up to bullying, and by doing that raises such a strong voice in every corner of the world.

Two women - desperate the unlock the truth.
How far will they go to lay the past to rest?
Anna lives with her religious mum, and one day escapes to go to a theme park. Suddenly, she feels like she's already been here.
Rosie's sister was kidnapped 15 years ago, and now the media wants to stop the search, so she needs to find a way to the truth.
Incredible twist, wow story, just what you need in a thriller.

The Rumour is Lesley Kara's debut novel, a gripping book about what people are capable of doing when they feel threatened and exposed. A thriller about paranoia, fear and suspense unlike any other.
What happens when you hear that a lady that killed a child 30 years ago might be living in your town. What happens when you tell your friends are the rumour spreads? What if she's after you now?

Q: Do you believe in love at first sight?
My answer: I don't. I believe in chemistry, and first impressions, but I think that love needs time and development...
Geekerella is a geeky Cinderella remake. As a geek myself, I loved that part. I loved the Comic Con and the cosplay and everything around it.
On the other side, I don't think people can find true love through texting, so there's that.
Lovely read though.

One month ago, my little sister gave me the series to read. And I am delighted she did.
A story about geeky Harriet, and how she becomes a model - the weirdest one.
A funny, geeky read, I couldn't stop giggling. A perfect book for the teens, and a perfect relaxation for the adults.

QOTD: Have you read The Cruel Prince? If yes, did you enjoy? If not, why haven't you read it?
I am in love with this book, and this story. I love this Faerie world that Holly Black created.
I love how fierceless Jude is, and how she fights for what she believes in.
I love Cardan too, for all the wrong reasons.
And I can't wait to read The Wicked King!

⭐ - DNF at 42% (read my full review on my blog).
I couldn't cope with a main character that couldn't stand up for herself. I couldn't cope with the word shenanigans (which is a wonderful word btw) to be used so often that it makes me cringe.
I do love romance and chick-lit, but this didn't deliver. And I am so sad about it. The cover is gorgeous too!
But life is too short to read the books you don't enjoy. Moving to the next one!
