#LittensLoveRomance Ch.26-30: well things have definitely escalated and now there‘s a chance that Maggie was wrong and they‘re all in danger. But I so wanted her to be right! She better stick close to Ethan because it seems he‘s the only one in the house who‘s thinking straight.

Which is why she can‘t trust Ethan right now and can‘t share what she thinks she knows. Is she right though? Is this a test set up by Eleanor? If so, there‘s no one who knows her more than Maggie. Maggie is set to win. But will she need help along the way?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.16-20: oh I feel so bad for both Maggie and Eleanor. I think they are kindred spirits. In a room full of idiots (at least mostly). And what‘s up with Ethan being so cagey about his past? Sign me up for that seminar! I need to know all of his secrets. Poor Maggie - it seems she was sorely used by her ex and her ex friend. Seems Colin‘s family lost money and he married her to get her book royalties. Seething on her behalf.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.11-15 Okay, we‘re meeting everyone and we have to pay attention because there‘s a good bet one or more of these characters is guilty. And they‘re quite the bunch! So Eleanor has rounded them all up this holiday season - but for what? What is she playing at? I‘m so curious!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.6-10: I‘ve been rewatching Downton Abbey and so far I can‘t help but picture the incredible Maggie Smith as Eleanor Ashley. So what is this mysterious lady up to? And is her niece CeCe involved? Why did she bring fellow mystery writers to her for Christmas? So many questions but I‘m so invested already! I already care a great deal for Maggie - her anxious internal monologue is so relatable. And Ethan is funny so far.

#LittensLoveRomance We‘re off to a very interesting start. I feel so much for poor Maggie - she‘s been through a lot. No wonder she‘s a bit of a recluse. Will this mysterious invite and getaway help break her out of her shell? Will she be able to handle having her professional nemesis there for the ride? So far I‘m enjoying the writing style and I‘m curious to know more - about the past and the future.

I loved this novella that takes place around New Year‘s Eve - two long time friends finally decide to take the plunge and embrace what they‘ve known for years - that they are meant to be. So romantic and swoony. I love this author - she never disappoints.

This is a wintery novella that left me shaking my head🤦‍♀️A meteorologist predicts the storm of the century but no one will believe her. She needs data but her equipment is broken. She asks the local science teacher to help fix her computer. But as it starts to snow…they get distracted with each other. Forget about the incoming storm let‘s get it on! So ridiculous. The writing and story could have used some major work.

Also, How do we feel about Galvin and her reconciliation? I‘m still a bit hurt on her behalf if I‘m honest. But I tend to hold a grudge.

I kind of like when a man is calm in crisis and can take charge. But now of course Cybil is going to feel like she needs to be at home with Jade and her parents. Okay a major bind - honestly he and Clarissa could be in serious trouble now. Im looking forward to the conclusion of this one. Roberts has certainly upped the stakes!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch 15-16: I can‘t believe her ex called her to check up on what she was doing. Ooh the nerve! She handled it well though I think. I think she needs a new start in a new place - she needs to get away from people‘s expectations.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-14: Blake is an ass. I mean I get it. But he could have approached things in a better way. Now Tanner feels he has to make a choice between his family and the woman who could become his family. Not an easy situation. And Cybil will face a lot of scrutiny and confusion from her friends (and everyone in her small town haha) for spending time with Tanner. Will they be strong enough to weather the storm?

#LittensLoveRomance Ch. 11-12: Lauren is so ridiculous but at least she‘s in a better mood now haha. Poor Cybil. That would be me - totally clumsy at the finish line. And what a revelation about her ex - I feel so bad for her, and him - although since we‘re not reading from his perspective obviously I feel more for Cybil. It‘s complicated and I can only imagine how she feels.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.9-10: poachers - can there be anything worse? What a horrible situation for Cybil to have found herself in. Here‘s hoping those men are gone now. Or maybe they‘ll run into the Bear. But this trip is certainly not the retreat that these couples were hoping for. Hopefully Tanner can keep everyone calm and safe.

But I‘m ok with it if only because it put a bee in Lauren‘s bonnet and I‘m all for that. That woman is awful. I‘m worried more problems will occur because of that twit before this is over. And someone shooting nearby- that‘s certainly scary!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.5-6: TBH - I‘m a bit terrified of bears ever since I was younger and watched this movie about a killer Grizzly on the loose. So I‘m thinking that bear is going to be back at some point in the story. I also think the group is going to come to an agreement to tie Lauren up and leave her somewhere if she doesn‘t stop her whining. But maybe that‘s wishful thinking. ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.6-10: things are getting more serious as a group calling themselves Cassandra blows up one of Roarke‘s buildings and targets another. They see Eve as their adversary and she has ties to the highest “capitalist” of them all. Eve is trying to stop another bombing disaster like one that happened earlier in the century. ⬇️

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.3-4: Welp - admitting to a group of strangers you‘re all alone on a couples retreat - that‘s not awkward at all. But good for Cybil for getting it out there. Lauren is totally going to be trouble - Yeesh. Also, I‘m getting some City Slickers vibes with this book which is fun. Might be time for a rewatch.
