Anyone here affected by this change? Do you store backup copies of your ebooks in case Amazon removes them like they did with Orwell's 1984 back in 2009?

“Starting on February 26th, 2025, Amazon is removing a feature from its website allowing you to download purchased books to a computer and then copy them manually to a Kindle over USB.“

julesG Sometimes I rate a book as "pick" but write "low pick" in my review. That's when I think I'd recommend it, but it has a few flaws or it didn't completely blow me. 3w

My goal is to read 100 books. But I haven't even finished one since the year started 😌 Maybe I have to stop being a mood reader and become a consistent/habitual reader?

ChaoticMissAdventures as as someone who averages about 160 books a year my advice always is to set aside a time every day to read, put away all distractions (I have to put my phone in a different room) and only read what you are interested in. I am getting a slow start this year too, I am going to try to read less news... 1mo

Android user here & can't find the app on Play Store.

Did a bit of search here (#android) and found https://litsy.en.uptodown.com/android. I just want to be assured of how safe to install the apk version there...

Has anyone experienced problems from installing and using it?
