Wow I totally even forgot I had an account on here 😂😂😂
Sorry I haven‘t posted in a while I‘ve been stuck in my feels lately going through some stuff but here‘s a picture of Dumplin laying on my belly last night while I was reading.
Who recommends this and why? I‘ve heard good things about it but I‘m not sure if I want to read it.
Let‘s Discuss:
Gandalf > Dumbledore
What do you think?
Finished The Well of Ascension last night and I loved it almost every bit as much as The Final Empire!!
I realized though July is almost over and I just wanted to get one another book in before July is over. So it‘s back to Dresden Files :)

There she sits acting all cute and innocent but I know she‘s plotting her next move against me!!
I tried orange spiced black tea this morning and it was delicious 😋
My schedule changed as of next week I‘ll be working 11-7 instead of 5:30-3. So I‘m wondering if I should just stay in the habit of getting up super early and going to be early or if my sleeping pattern should change according to my schedule.
Also I‘m reading The Well of Ascension and it‘s good...but things just ain‘t the same 😰 if you know you know. Wishing all a blessed day!!
Noodle say, “Daddy needs to share his kindle!!!! 😡 I wanna read Mistborn too!”
Well I‘m still sleepy 💤 but I need to stay in the habit of reading in the morning before work. But I‘m sooooo sleepy 💤 lol I hate 4 am
Review coming soon.
Spoiler alert: it broke me.
I did not see that coming. Kelsier you madman. You beautiful beautiful genius...
I got like 20 more pages but imma be thinking about this all day

ALSO: Do I go straight to book two The Well of Ascension or take a break and go to The Dresden Files for a book or two?
Peace book nerds
We‘re just having a lazy Sunday !! Today was supposed to be chore day but I can‘t get this lazy rat to do nothin !!!!!
Good morning and happy Sunday. No book review today but I made this video about who I am as person. What kind of food/books/video games I enjoy, how I read with ADHD, and some other things. Hope y‘all enjoy and get a chance to watch!!

I‘m halfway through the final empire, and it‘s everything I thought it would be. Does it only get better after the first book? For those who have read the trilogy in entirety?
Why are sci-fi and fantasy stuck together in the same category at B&N and other bookstores and on the kindle app? And why do I love one and dislike the other so much? Does anyone else feel like these genres should be entirely distinct and separate from one another unless they are sci-fantasy books?
What is a good entry point for classic sci-fi (I‘ve already read Dune, so don‘t red. that) ?
&&&
What is a good entry point for modern sci-fi? I‘ve read nothing, literally NOTHING, in the modern sci-fi genre!!
I‘m about 150 pages in and honestly I‘m very impressed.
I can already predict Mistborn is going to break me !!
For anyone who didn‘t get a chance to check out my latest review of King of Thorns here are the links to the condensed review and the in depth review:

Starting this today. This is gonna be a good one!
Finished it today, man this one just flew by! It keeps getting better and better loved the addition of the Summer and Winter fairies. Will post review soon!
With the COV** thing still going down it‘s been hard to socialize. Would anyone be sincerely interested in starting a ZOOM based book club where we participate in meetings and discuss a book perhaps in a bi-weekly basis? Leave me a comment down below and I can provide contact info and see if it‘s worth setting up!!
Love
Beautiful and disgusting Grimdark gems of Necromancy and a truly vile main POV character, unfortunately weighed down by a very random and incohesive narration presentation and lackluster side characters. At times a very marvelous book, at other times came close to DNFing.

Leave me some comments let me know what you think ❤️
Let‘s discuss:
Harry Potter is not a 5 star series. Most people only think it is because of the nostalgia factor and having read it growing up alongside Harry, as children and teens we saw it as 5 stars. Harry Potter is only a favorite series for so many because they have yet to read a better series or simply remember how good it was growing up. Going back critically and examining it objectively, it ranges between 3-4/5 stars. Change my mind.
After a long day of work it‘s nice to know you‘re coming home to a good book!!
Also: everybody responded so politely to my picture of my pet rat Dumplin I thought it was unfair that my other rat isn‘t getting as much attention 😠 so here‘s her sweet sister Noodle. She‘s the lazy one 😂
Finished this yesterday and had a love hate relationship with this, still a gem but plenty of issues!! I‘ll be posting a review plus a YouTube link soon with tags. If you want a tag let me know, if you commented or showed interest in my reviews in the past you‘re getting one anyway 😘😇
Also, loving this app everybody is so upbeat and friendly !! Positive vibes from everyone y‘all are awesome !!
My little buddy likes to lay on my chest while I read :)
Finished King of Thorns, will be posting review tomorrow or Monday !!
Reading The Dresden Files again, can‘t wait for the explosions !! I know if any of the series I‘m reading are going to break me, this series will be the one that breaks me !! #SummerKnight
This necromancy stuff got me messed up I‘m over here at work thinking about them planting people in the ground to die slowly so that they ripen to become soldiers like wow lol that was creative
Gotta get to work now but I‘m leaving old Jorgy in a bit of a pickle you see he‘s off to see the fire mage but somethings stirring hope he‘ll be ok while I‘m gone!!
Weird book I breezed through part one but this one is kind of different :S I think I‘ll get it by the time I‘m through tho we‘ll see. Starting Dresden #5 after this 😇😇😇
A delightfully disgusting tale of an anti Robin Hood, his not so merry men, as they pillage, plunder, and murder their way to fame.
Jorg is out for revenge against the man who murdered his mother and brother. A true psychopath, we see how his experiences as a child shaped him to be the scoundrel he is today Necromancers and ghosts too!
Points off for lack of direction and plot armor. 15/20! See my YouTube video. https://youtu.be/FXSIoQp2zj0
I got my review up and tagged some people who showed interest in it. Let me know if you‘re not ok with tagging and I‘ll remove it. Hope y‘all get a chance to watch and let me know what you think!
The Broken Empire - Prince of Thorns https://youtu.be/FXSIoQp2zj0
Does anyone I‘m following or anyone of my followers also have ADD or ADHD and would like to share some tips or discuss your struggle with being a book lover but also not being able to sit still and read for long periods of time?
I‘ve struggled with this since I was child, and I‘m not ashamed of it or uncomfortable with it. But I‘d love to talk about it with others!
#Awareness
Part two :) here we go!!
Usually I take a break in between books of a series but these are quick reads!! Maybe finished by tomorrow?
Also I‘ll be posting my review for prince of Thorns either today or tomorrow, hope y‘all get a chance to watch and enjoy :)
Well I got today left in tomorrow but that‘ll be all she wrote for my vacation. So today, I‘m using my time wisely. I‘m gonna lock myself in and do nothing but read all day. Let‘s see how long I can take it until my ADHD kicks in and it‘s time for me to leave the room 😇😂 get some tea and grimdark !!
So I do a why you should read / what to expect video on first law. For me, it was all about the characters!!
Check out my video if you have a few minutes and let me know what you think!!

Do any of my new Litsy friends have a Booktube / YouTube channel and want to engage in a free exchange of ideas, basically I‘m trying to steal your ideas 😂 no I‘m playing but but for real I just started one and really am looking for some advice on how to edit, gain subscribers, etc. etc.
Thanks friends 😇😇😇
I‘m not gonna lie this Jorg guy kinda nasty lol 😂 I think I‘m gonna enjoy this
Happy Fourth of July everybody!!!!!
Hope everyone is having a great day and gets a chance to barbecue and celebrate some freedom!
If you get a chance check out my review of this book!
Tomorrow I‘ll be posting why you should read the first law trilogy. Y‘all have a great day and stay safe!
Last Argument of Kings - But Not My Last First Law Video https://youtu.be/0ofmHZjBDzE
Finished this one yesterday. Very solid, consistent wrap up to the series. Not too many surprises here, which means the story was well thought out and planned.
Character work is excellent. Personal favorites are Logen and Glokta!!
Writing style, not my favorite. Very simplistic, straight to the point prose. I like prose to be flowery and lyrical.
Overall 17/20. My YouTube video: https://youtu.be/0ofmHZjBDzE
But now for a brief moment grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage. - Ezekiel 9:8
I‘m not overly religious or even mildly conservative when it comes to Christianity, but I read this verse today and thought it was encouraging.
Welllllll I finally got through First Law 1-3 and man things got wild. Saw a bit coming honestly and the series has flaws but awesome characters. Stay tuned for my review tomorrow or Sunday.
Now, I‘m starting this!! I‘ve heard the protagonist is a nasty guy? Like how nasty are we talking? Glokta nasty? Joffrey nasty? Bring on the Grimdark !! #Fantasy #Grimdark #PrinceOfThorns #BrokenEmpire #Reading #Book #Tea
Everybody so nice here on Litsy, makes me want to delete Facebook 😂
Hey new book friends, I just posted a video doing a review on the Dresden files, Grave Peril. If you have time please watch it, and also if you have a little more time, let me know how I can improve. I‘m finally learning how to edit better and use texts and things like that. Hope y‘all enjoy and here‘s the link:
Grave Peril - Gave Me The Creeps https://youtu.be/-p2cZCU4whg
I‘ll say I loved it. I‘m really enjoying reading the Dresden files and really getting into it. Harry Dresden is such a strong main protagonist, and the side characters like Michael and the rest. Good inclusion of Christian elements without being hateful. Vampires, ghosts, demons and a whole lot more. A few minor issues. Minor issues with writing style. Below link to my YouTube video.
