Book 27 in the Hamish Macbeth series is another pick. The murders are getting more and more creative, and this one had a couple of creepy children à la Agatha Christie. 4⭐️

Hamish kept me company all day yesterday as I cleaned the house and finally put the Christmas decorations away. 😆 Hamish along with Agatha Raisin are my comfort listens and I love both series. Highly recommended if you like cozy murder mysteries. 4⭐️

Book 25 in the Hamish Macbeth series is a good one. Hamish almost gets faux baby trapped at the altar. His love life is a mess as always. The murders in this book were particularly gruesome. Love this series. 4⭐️

I really liked Ellery Adams' Secret, Book & Scone Society series, so when I saw this, I knew it had to be my pick for this month's #ThematicCozies!

I had such a good time with #SeasonalCozies this year, of course I‘m going to join #ThematicCozies in 2025. Tagged is my pick for January‘s #Animal theme. First in the series & free to listen to on Audible.
I also found I‘d skipped a short story for the Shady Hollow series so I‘m going to read it as a bonus even if it‘s Halloween based. The SH series became a favorite this year & features a community of animals. I‘ll tag the first book ⬇️

A perfectly capable sheriff is looking for the murderer, and once again our “curious” (aka nosy) main character cannot let him do his work, putting herself in dangerous situations that take away the sheriff‘s concentration. I like the stories and the writing, but I am put out by this repeat stupidity in book two of the series. I get it. Her best friend has been jailed for the crime. But the sheriff doesn‘t believe she did it either! She has ⬇️
When a magazine photo shoot goes wrong, Angie and Mel are forced to bake cupcakes with the magazine staff. There‘s a lot of drama in this one, and it‘s not just the murder! Good listen and story, though I‘m now a bit exasperated with Mel. 😂
First off in my #12BooksOf2024 is this one from the creator of Death In Paradise, Robert Thorogood. I always enjoy his writing.
