Now I‘ve got this one and the bookstore. I was going to get the Paris related ones but changed my mind. If they ever come out with a New York public library or a library of Alexandria I‘ll be thrilled.
On a lighter note…I needed to buy some Lego sets for Christmas. Lego had this Books are My Passion set (after spending $130). LEGO was the only place that had 2 of the sets my 15 year old wanted. I think the promotion runs till 11/11. I really wish they would just sell these in the stores as a set to purchase.
Spent some time putting together this LEGO Ideas “Books are my passion” kit. Just a little zen time before turning on the cable news coverage.

Got my notification on 10/18 that my ballot had been transferred to batch XYZ to be counted. Saw that AZ started counting last night.
Maybe we see results tonight🤞🏼💙🌵
Just look at what Lego is releasing!
Just in case you need Lego, this AMAZING set is a GWP from October 28- November 11 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
4/5⭐ This is a nifty book with nontraditional bag-making techniques, including stapling and using duct and packing tape. Some of the projects creatively use household items (even bubble mailers, Monopoly money, candy wrappers, and AstroTurf). These nontraditional approaches and materials make this book unique and inspire a new way of thinking about making things. I love the sidebars with little history and other notes on various materials.
US #LitsyLove folk: Just a heads up, stamp prices will be increasing July 14th. Details were sent in an email. Let me know if you haven't received emails lately; a few have gone out recently, just want to make sure no one is missing out!
2/5⭐ Aside from a handful of charts, any useful information in this book is buried in bloated paragraphs of repetition and padding. Even just skimming the majority of pages was a frustrating experience. Though images were often the same set from different angles, they were cute.
