Still Knife Painting is the first book in the Paint and Shine series featuring Miranda Trent who moves back to Kentucky when she inherits her uncles farm house. She starts a business for tourists who want to have a local cultural experience with painting and moonshine.

Some characters didn‘t really make sense. But I enjoyed the premise and setting, and I would read the next book. For the #hobby theme, this has art, hiking, cooking & distilling!

I could not put this one down. I really enjoyed the main character Miranda and the story line. It seemed like she had many levels to her from introverted to being a strong lead in an investigation. I knew who did it early on, which actually was exciting because the “why” Unfolded for me as the story continued. There was a significant typo error near the end of the book.. twice. I also didn‘t understand some of the clients stories.

Just finished my second #cozymystery for #LMPBC #groupw. There were some things I thought became boringly repetitive, but I was hooked enough to want to know who did it, and I did not find the ending predictable. Overall, I‘d give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️Excited for the next round!

Confession time! This was my first ever cozy mystery 😃 so I have nothing to compare it to 🤨 but I‘ll be an expert soon with #LMPBC #Round9 #GroupW

3.5 🌟- cute story with some likable (although inconsistent) characters, I didn‘t know who did it until the end and I liked how it ended. But it fell short when trying to deal with serious issues in a rather shallow manner. Still, I‘ll be checking out the next one in the series when it comes out 😄
