pickOn a rainy day, nothing‘s better than starting a new book. I‘m reading The Green Mile in the chapbook format. Looking forward to watching the movie afterwards 🍿
Interestingly enough this novel, set in a Depression-era Southern prison‘s death row, was released in several serial installments.
The first installment, titled The Two Dead Girls was released in March of 1996, with one installment a month published through the final installment, Coffey on the Mile, which was released in August of the same year. Every single installment ended up on the New York Times best seller list. #stephenking #thegreenmile
