If you like random trivia about entirely unrelated nonsense loosely tied to “writing” via some kind of alcohol or wishful thinking, this is the book for you. If you might enjoy a (too) long diatribe about the differences between diaries and journals, complete with definitions admittedly made up by the author, this book is for you. If you want to actually learn about writing, look elsewhere.

GingerAntics Seriously, this was nearly 5 hours of “all the jobs I‘ve done that I wasn‘t qualified for.” I have no desire to revise HER writing. That is her job. She wasted multiple minutes listing off words for each letter of the alphabet. No idea why. She actually would have preferred a man had told her to smile more. I am seriously embarrassed for this woman. She comes off as a privileged, hateful person in multiple parts of the book. She needs therapy.👇🏻 3d

GingerAntics I listened to this on 3x speed just to get through the madness. The prompts are really generic and other books will get you way further. This needs a PDF with all of the prompts, otherwise it‘s just a wild ride of going back and forth trying to get them from the audio or you‘re just listening like this is a book worth listening to. Bro has seriously NEVER been “speculumised,” clearly. There is nothing exciting or “erotic” about it. I‘d say let‘s soeculumise these morons and see how the feel, but I have a nagging little feeling they might enjoy it after all. 😏😉 I‘m beginning to think “Unwell Men” might be a great alternate name for this book. They are the weirdos in this tale.

dabbe I feel like it's a day-in-the-life-of kind of book. It reminds me of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON by Wharton, where every day was like “We got up. We ate breakfast. We shopped and ate lunch. Then we partied. And partied. And partied.“ 🤣 1y

Can I get some proof of this? I mean logical proof. I don‘t think Alison Weir has ever been catholic. Being alive is a reason for guilt, along with eating too much, wanting to have sex with your spouse, thinking you look good in a particular color… I could go on. Ironically I bought "Howard's End is on the landing: A year of reading from home" to help with this exact problem. A few years later, I still haven't read it lol. #bookspin may be just the solution.
