4.5/5
Pandora Ravenel never planned to get married, but after getting caught alone with Lord St. Vincent, she finds her future dramatically changed.
I love all the characters and historical detail in this series.

Think I've got a big enough staycation stack? 😜
An eccentric wallflower and a reformed rake that wants her makes for a fantastic historical romance. This whole series has been good and this book was one of my favorites so far.
I adore a quirky heroine and Pandora is that in spades. She‘s bored by the Season and just wants to own her own business making board games.
Finished this audiobook on our walk this evening. Enjoyed it just as much on this second read. Gabriel is one of my favorite Kleypas heroes. I adore the narrator. I believe she narrates this whole series. #audiowalk
Finished the series with book 3. I like Pandora & Sebastian‘s story, but West & Phoebe remain my fave.
I love when library holds come in at the perfect time for a #readathon. Book 1 & 10 hrs for #20in4 🎉
I love that I can walk with the sun still up after work again. 🌞 #audiowalk
I just got back from a pleasant walk with Peri. Temps are extremely better than they were last week. Over the weekend I finished Marrying Winterborne in audio and then jumped right into the next one in the series. I'm enjoying this re-read very much. #audiowalk
omg!Can I just tell you how much I fangirled over Pandora? 😍😍
Because man did I fangirl and hard! I just connected with her character a lot and loved her and then there's Gabriel and family which are just fun but my heart was all about Pandora and her free will, her wordplay, and her witty sense of humor.
My seventh 5⭐️ read for 2020 was this #coverlove . No one writes historical romance like Kleypas...she‘s in my top 3 in the genre. Dashing heroes + strong heroines = wonderful stories.

Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite historical romance authors because her characters are so very real and she writes her heroes especially well.
Pandora is an unusual young lady who doesn‘t wish to marry as she will lose her autonomy and her dream of starting a board game business. While she‘s independent-minded and outspoken, she‘s also insecure and self-conscious as she didn‘t have much of a family life growing up and suffers from tinnitus ⬇️
What are the odds that BOTH my #whodunitthesequel and #doublespin have the word “Devil” in them this month?! Wow!! Maybe I should be concerned?! I mean of all words!! 😳🤣🤷🏻♀️
I‘m beginning my #doublespin and must say I do believe this is one of the most beautiful romance covers I‘ve ever seen... #coverlove 💙
I ❤️ Lisa Kleypas‘ writing, so this promises to be good!

Just realised I hadn't checked this super fun bunch of challenges in a while! @ShyBookOwl #ScavengerSaturday #BookHunt
Right there in the title, and the book I was reading yesterday! I love the heroine of this book, and I love the glimpses of Evie and St.Vincent that Kleypas gives us!
What perfect distraction! The Ravenel series continues with this book 3 entry featuring Pandora and a devilishly handsome Lord St Vincent. Pandora is definitely hyper, but the reader learns why. Add a female entrepreneur plot and some thriller-style writing at near the end, and it makes for another engaging entry in the series.
Not my favourite but still an easy and readable historical romance.
Relaxing with an audiobook reread. I really like the narrator. Hopefully I‘m ready for the holidays.
Okay, I know, I should probably take a break from romance novels. It‘s all I‘ve been reading in December, but I‘m only in the mood for happy endings!
This book was good. I really love Pandora and Gabriel. This book definitely brought to light all that women had to go through when getting married by giving up their rights etc. I also liked seeing some of the medical practices that aren‘t dirty and dangerous.
Onto the next one!
Pandora and Gabriel are unusual and allowed to be vulnerable instead of heroic at all times. Kleypas is a master at writing engaging characters.
I‘ve been reading tons of Lisa Kleypas. So far I‘m reading book 10 by this author.I am embroiled in her historical #romantsy novels. All are Kindle books except for this one. This was a fun instalment. Pandora is a fantastic heroine and her handsome hero is too dreamy. Lots of heat ! ❤️ 🔥
Finishing up an easy summer read with some puppy snuggles. #dogsoflitsy #currently reading #romance
The Ravenels series has so far been delightful, and this was no exception. It was an absolute delight to see some throwback characters from the Wallflowers series. I'm also looking forward to trying the blancmange recipe in the back after the recipe for peppermint creams in book two was so delicious. Definitely recommended for historical romance fans.
#marchinbooks #seasoninthetitle this book has such a pretty cover , I couldn‘t resist it but still on my tbr. Just found Jane Steele on sale for $8.00 ,score , does my #chemicalheart good to save so much money 💰 #marchintooz. #romantsy
I enjoyed it! Lisa Kleypas is a great writer, and while this isn‘t one of my favorites of hers, it does hit the spot with good banter, a strong businesswoman, and Victorian era medicine. A good, quick read!
Love, love, love this! Pandora made me laugh out loud. So charming.
I finally managed to finish a book this month! This was a cute #audiobook. I enjoyed the relationship between the two characters. It was well written. #romantsy #historicalromance #audible
After my last #audiobook was a bust, I'm going to go with an author I know and like. #audible #romantsy #historicalromance
A little #romantsy mixed into my #24in48 #readathon. Picked this one up after seeing it on the Goodreads Choice Awards last year. This was my first Lisa Kleypas but definitely not my last.
I'm such a sucker for ball gown covers and this one was only $1.99 today! 😍
This is the third book in Lisa Kleypas's Ravenels series. This is my favorite book in the series so far!!!
I thoroughly enjoy the Ravenals and what happens to them. They're such likeable people and unashamedly themselves. Pandoras story was cute and seems to be setting the stage for even greater action to be had in subsequent novels. The story flowed well and I really liked how they came to be together. I'm even more curious as to what's going to happen next.
My current read! I've not read any of the Ravenels series but jumped into this since I've read "Devil in Winter" which features Sebastian & Evie, who are Gabriel's parents in this book ?
I love this cover! It's so pretty!!! ? I'm such a sucker for pretty covers ?

I failed yesterday 😕. So I'm making this a double post to make up for it. The first picture is my favorite bookish #gift. It's a first edition thus of Jane Eyre from my hubby for our 3rd anniversary while we were dating.
I don't own any books with the #seasonofyourbirth on it but the 2nd book is on my #tbr list

Another hit by Kleypas. Loved reading more about my favorite Wallflower Evie and her son's shenanigans. My first day of #24in48 is going swimmingly. I'm at 10:45 hours read.
I've started Devil In Spring as my next commuting listen. The more I listen to Mary Jane Wells narrate, the more pleasing I find her voice. Like, she could just narrate everything. #romantsy #audiobook #historicalromance
Another good entry into the Ravenels family. I enjoyed seeing what happened to Pandora since coming up with her game in the last book. It was also great to see people from previous stories make appearances. Gabriel provides a nice counter balance for Pandora, even if some of the kinks in their romance feel a bit forced.
Ms. Kleypas and I may need to have words about the historically improbable appropriation of Irish Revolutionaries as her villains, but loved Pandora and a visit with the Ravenels. #romantsy
75% of my reading these days is while on a business trip - averaging 2/wk in this season. So this is my standard airport lounge breakfast - coffee, hard boiled eggs, good book. #romantsy
Have two hours between meetings... no better way to spend them! #romantsy
This was a satisfying end to this series. The meet-cute was particularly fun and how loved how she took influences from historical women to help enrich the story even further.
If anyone is wondering how uni in Germany is going, I've discovered a new level of stress, which can only be countered by bilingual binge-reading of Lisa Kleypas. 😂 I'm using Devil in Spring as my #LetterD for #LitsyAtoZ though, so at least it's contributing to something! #romantsy #historicalromance #germanlyf
Delightfully charming and funny! Definitely caused giggles. This is book 3 of the Ravenals, and I've apparently missed book 2, but was able to follow without a problem. The story follows Pandora, the "wild" twin, who is on the road to becoming an entrepreneur and is not at all happy to have been found in an accidentally compromising position. Marriage meant giving up property and other legal rights - is our hero worth it? A lovely story. #romantsy
Not fully unpacked. But I have food in the cupboards. And internet. Back to work tomorrow. But for now I am going to settle in with a romance novel and enjoy the new place.
