Couldn‘t find this one in the database. It‘s wonderful so far and I love the cover. It reminds me slightly of ‘The Swan Princess‘ which remains one of my all time favorite childhood films. After an audio slump and an even longer time away from Litsy; I‘m hoping to get back in a groove. 💕

I found this one on a ‘Best Comics of 2018‘ list. I enjoyed it, definitely dark elements, but compelling. I also liked the music references. I enjoy hearing about artists and discovering new music (to me) that I can explore. I also loved that this is a brand new GN, but I could get it on Hoopla. Win.

I‘ve never read this one and with the movie premiering on HBO in May it seems like the perfect time. I‘ve heard mixed things about Tim Robbins‘ narration but I‘m willing to give it a shot.

I found this one to be an absolute delight! All the hype was completely justified. I don‘t think I laughed so many times while reading a romance. The banter between Ash and Emma was just so fun. I loved this so much it took me less than two days to finish it. Just perfect. And the narration was unparalleled. Mary Jane Wells hit all the right notes. And this cover is absolutely gorgeous. Okay, I‘ll stop gushing now.

I love Louisa Clark so much. I wish she was real. I think it just speaks to the magic of Jo Jo Moyes‘ writing and the characters she creates. Her books make me happy and they give me all the feels, especially the Me Before You series. I just love them so much. I also loved how Louisa‘s journey in NYC was an integral part of the story. Ah, I kind of hate to bail on this one, I‘ve enjoyed what I‘ve read, but I haven‘t touched it in days and I‘m not clamoring to read it. I may go back to it at some point, but I think I need to put it down for now.

This was a great continuation of Joss and Braden‘s story. I find their love story to be so fun and sexy. I also love the descriptions of Scotland and the Edinburgh Castle. Scotland moved up on my bucket list of places to visit. This castle is so pretty.

This book sucked me in from the very first page and it never let go. I was immediately drawn into the honesty of Michael and Kit‘s relationship. They‘d definitely had their ups and downs in their 14 years, but loved one another fiercely. This memoir felt like a love letter, it was beautiful. I laughed, and cried so many damn tears, and it was worth every single one. (This image seems perfect)

I loved Joss‘s and Braden‘s love story. It was smart, funny, full of heart. The sex scenes were so hot I thought my phone was going to burst into flames. I didn‘t want the story to end and I already miss them. Book hangover to the max.

This one has been in my Audible library for ages and when I saw it on ‘Audible‘s 50 essential Romances‘ I knew it was time to break it out. I‘m enjoying it so far, there‘s a couple of phrases I wish the author would stop using, but I digress. I also think the narrator‘s portrayal of a Scottish accent is pretty spot on.

I wouldn‘t necessarily say I‘m in a book slump, but I keep bouncing between a few different books, reading bits here and there, but not quite settling in, that changed today with this one. If I didn‘t have responsibilities, I swear I would have listened to the whole thing in one go.

First audiobook of the new year. There were some great moments in this one. I wish the ‘falling in love‘ part was a little more developed, but overall I enjoyed getting swept up in the drama and magic of the Scottish highlands. Also, the female narrator‘s voice for the Scottish men was grating at times, but it was a minor complaint.

Already feeling a little daunted by the new year and I needed a pick-me up. I don‘t think author has ever made me laugh so hard. I crack up at almost every page. Her humor just works for me.

Hoping to post more regularly in 2018!

Admittedly, when I heard about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris ending their marriage, I was bummed, but also curious about Anna‘s memoir. I‘m so glad I read it. It was smart, funny and charming. Despite her celebrity status and high profile relationship, at the end of the day she‘s a funny, down-to earth woman just doing her best to raise a great kid and get through the day as well as she can.

Hannah_Haymond I agree it can ramble, but I like the casual format and the segments where they have guests help with the caller questions can be really fun. Give it a try! I was drawn into Leah‘s story by watching her show on A&E. I had heard about her book, but it was only until I saw her show that I was truly interested. I‘m so glad I finally picked this one up. Her voice is authentic and genuine throughout the book. I feel like if I met her tomorrow, she‘d be the same woman who comes through in the book. She‘s honest, maybe at times a bit abrasive, but true to herself always.

This one took me awhile to get through. It's hard to know what to say about it. Because of the dark subject matter I feel weird using the word 'good'. It definitely kept me riveted and it was compelling. I'd love to know what others think of it. Definitely one that I need to process.

Tnovo I thought it was very well written and researched. It was not filtered and therefore tough to read. Such a compelling story she told about her own life and how it impacted her thinking about the death penalty. Just my thoughts 📝 7y
