pickAs the last person on earth to read this book, I am happy to verify what I've been hearing for the past five years: This romance is 100% delightful in every way. Is it unrealistic? Yep. Don't care. Is it too long? Probably. But I would read a whole series with these guys, so the 421 page count is just fine with me.
pickLike it a lot, but not as much as I thought I would. Yes, I was ruined by the movie 😅 But I loved reading about the changes made, and enjoyed all the extras to it. And of course it's a lovely book with an important message. Still hoping for a female US president 🤞
pickThis was very funny, and very cute, and affirmed my belief that turkeys are evil creatures. 10/10.
pickAwww! This was exactly the adorableness I needed this weekend! Especially now, it was cool reading about an alternate timeline in which a female Democrat, the main character‘s mom, won the presidency in 2016. I loved how his relationship with Prince Henry blossomed and the ways they unlocked each other‘s best selves. Just all the warm fuzzies for this one!
so-soLong and just ok for me. However, I did enjoy the character development throughout the book.
pickAn adorable, funny, just the right amount of angst romance that I‘m not sure why I waited so long to read. There are just enough cute and silly moments that balanced out the heartfelt and serious ones perfectly. The characters were flawed, well-rounded, and real. I loved every everything about this book.

pickThe love story in this one is very sweet and often funny, and the dialogue sparkles throughout the book. But I think what really pulls me in with this one is the fantasy of what America and American politics could be. It reminded me a little bit of the movie The American President in that way, where we ultimately have a story in which the better angels of our nation actually win. And isn‘t that what we would all truly love to see for a change?
pickI read this book as part of the Goodreads 2024 challange. It was the perfect book to read for Pride Month. These gentlemen faced an almost impossible situation. I grew to like them both as I read their story. I‘m generally not into the romance genre, but I‘m glad I read this book.

pickFelt all the feels when I finally got my hands on the Collector's Edition of RWRB, and currently happy & unfettered amongst all the warm & fuzzy feels of finishing the extra chapter told from Henry's dreamy POV. Peering into the domestic life of my all-time favourite book couple was joyous, and the ending delightful, yet again. I absolutely loved experiencing the story, however short, through Henry's lyrical, sometimes melancholic prose 🩷👑.

Red, White & Royal Blue stole first place due to the fact that both the book and the film have brought a little light to quite a few dark days ❤️🤍💙. Closely followed, of course, by the twisty labyrinth that is Killing Jericho and the absolute gem, They Both Die at The End! Reading goal met. Now bring on 2024 and the legions of books to come! 🎉

bailedI really wanted to like this one, but Alex is such a jerk that I just couldn‘t. It made no sense to me at all how hostile he was and he‘s the sort of entitled brat child that I simply loathe. Had to bail before I threw my poor kindle.
so-soI found the ending of this really moving, but parts of this felt very odd to me like fetishisation of the monarchy at the same time as hot royal characters listing the monarchy‘s historical atrocities just made me feel like the author found royals hot but wanted to detail all the asterisks of why they weren‘t allowed to find them hot…? The plot arrived really suddenly right at the end and a lot of the British bits rung kind of oddly
I now have both catboys on me and need a telescope to read my book (it's so far away!). Ebooks really are easier when these monsters want to snug.
